I think the series and toy line look great, aesthetically its exactly the sort of stylised character driven design I look for in a toy line/animated series. I just hope its not too kidsy for an adult like myself to enjoy it.

I'm loving the closeness of the cartoon to the toys and while the stylised look works better for some charatcers than others I'm loving Bumblebee, Soundwave and likeing Grimlock.

Looking forward to see what they do with Wreck-Gar and others.

I'm digging the look of most of them, with the exception of mainly Bulkhead. I can't wait to get my hands on Grimlock! And I'll probably end up getting at least two or three Primes...

I really hope the rest of the Dinobots show up...Swoop is desperate need of a new figure!

I also really like the designs; its something we haven't seen before.

However, I'm more worried about the show itself. I really disliked RiD and U3.

I doubt it'll be anything like RID and the Unicron Trilogy, they were Japanese made shows that were poorly cut and dubbed for the US audience something that alomst never works well. This new show will be made in English for a western audience and thefore wont suffer from the poor translation and cultural differences those imported shows did. If you really want to enjoy those series download the subbed versions from http://www.tvnihon.com you'll find shows like Superlink infinatly superior in thier original language.

I like how Primes alt mode looks more like the original Cybertronian mode in G1

This will be the first time that I try and collect all the figures in the line.
Not to mention, I'll probably get extras of a couple--
They're probably too cool to leave in the boxes.

I think they all look incredible,
especially Blitzwing, Grimlock, and Soundwave.

I'm actually looking forward to this line quite a bit. I'm excited by the inclusion of a few of the Dinobots, and that they look as bad ass as they do only doubles my excitement.

Still, the idea of a guitar wielding Soundwave (even if it does transform into Laserbeak) induces that old Arsenio Hall phrase, "Things that make you go Hmmmm". :-?

I dislike the majority of them. I think Bumblebee has a horrid bot mode. Bulkhead looks to be about as usefull as a paper weight. I really, really loathe Soundwave and his stupid guitar. It sounds like I'm the only one who thinks that Soundwave is just horrible. I don't like what I've seen of Megatron either.

That being said, I like the sketches for Blitzwing. I'm also really digging Starscream and Grimlock. Prime looks cool too.

I don't like the stylised designs. For the most part they have driven me off regular animation series, I will most certainly not pay money to see them as toys.

The TV series will get its chance (should it be broadcasted in Germany), but it would need an exceptional story to keep my attention. I'm just not getting the warm fuzzy "must have" first picture vibes from it I had from single pictures of other series that are still my favourites today.

I like some of the moulds, but not all of them. and since i'm no "completist" i can just as easily pass on the ones i don't like, like Bulkhead. Prime and Blitzwing so far are in the must buy list. I 'll have to see better pics of Ratchet, and Black Arachnia to make up my mind. And I kinda like Grimlock. although i need some pics of it in color to make a decision.

Otherwise, it looks like it will be a line that i will buy only a select few from.

I'm just not liking these at all. A couple of these figures I might get, but unlike in last series where I got at least 1 of each mold, that will not be happening here.

I intend to use this time to fill in some of the gaps in my G1 collection as well as generaly save some money in hopes that the next line will be better.

I'll take that underadvisement; however, it wasn't the dubbing or "cultural differences" that made the shows bad. Frankly, I though the story itself was weak and didn't take advantage of a number of interesting story opportunities.

Likewise, I detest The Batman and Beast Machines also skimped on some interesting subject matter. Animated is being directed and written by teams who worked on both.

Can't wait for Blurr!! It's been a while since we had a fast-talking t-former.

Well, I'm a sucker for any new incarnation of the old standards, so guys like Bumblebee, Prowl, Grimlock, Slag, Starscream, and Soundwave are locks. The only problem I see myself having is deciding which versions of Optimus and Megatron to get.

That's my biggest concern. The Batman is just plain bad, especially when you put it next to TAS and Beyond.
