Why didn't hasbro release Wreckage as a counterpart to Deluxe Brawl?

All they had to do was repaint him like this version done by Jin Satome..

What a sweet looking figure, a better repaint of wreckage is definitely required!! heck they repainted almost every one else!!!

I am actually glad I got him, unlike Barricade. I don't have those skills, so I also hoping for a repaint of him. :D

In my opinion this picture says it all!!! come on Hasbro, a repaint and Deluxe brawl 2-Pack by x-mas!!!

\you gotta love the forest almost black greens along side the lighter colored greens on him, very nice!! this is exactly how he should have been released in the first place!!!

Best of the rest, he would be no. 1, in my book!!!

I am waiting for them to repaint Wreckage, but seeing as he is a good figure, with a great head sculpt, I'm betting they wont.

Or if they do, he'll be that light Sky blue colour that features on Desert Attack brawl...

GEEEZ!!! yeah you nailed what Hasbro is probably gonna do, they really piss me off sometimes... on one hand they hit the mark just perfect, then on the other, they completely and royally screw up.. it's always hit or miss with them.. why can't they just get it right for a whole toy line for a change.. we'll see what the animated has in store, till then, gives us a Better, repainted Wreckage and Brawl 2 Pack, or better yet make the repaint an autobot who battles brawl, before he leaves the military, base as seen in the movie.. that would be a cool background story!!!

Actually, I'd like to see a voyager version of both Wreckage and Brawl.

Leader Brawl seems too big, but maybe that's b/c I don't have a good frame of reference for comparing a tank size vs a car/truck.

Why Hasbro released Brawl as a leader class figure and not Blackout is beyond me.

I know this is off-topic but I'm rolling. :D A leader B-Out that could hold the deluxe Scorponok in the same way as the voyager version holds the mini Scorpy - that would be awesome.

Back on topic - I do love Wreckage in those greens. If I had any luck at repainting deluxe figs, I'd try to do the same thing. Sadly, the only things that I've successfully repainted were Alternators. :-(

Absolutely no to a Brawl/Wreckage two-pack. :? Brawl is crap and excessive when there's a superior option now, and there's no reason it should be required for us to see Wreckage repainted (as he will be in some form, even if at Botcon 2008).

Recon Barricade, Cliffjumper, and G1 Jazz aren't exclusive to sets. Why should a Wreckage repaint, especially if it only makes getting such a good mold harder to get?

And that's not including the fact I have no problem with Wreckage as it is. Retail stuff will never look like those awesome, time-consuming customs.

Well you are right about the customs looking better then anything that comes from the factory, unless if produced by McFarlane toys...

anyways, the 2-Pack suggestion was simply a way to get deluxe Brawl, with a cool bot, considering the issues he has on his shoulders, he should be atleast sold with a cool counterpart to make up for the issues.. and not aonly that, i passed on deluxe Brawl, so I would only buyhim if he came witha cool repainted Wreckage like the one Jin saotome did..

Possibly because he was supposed to be Megatron. A lot of investment would have gone into creating him, designing the toy, etc. Then when they decided to make Megatron an interstellar jet, they had to use the tank design in some way.

Which worries me, because it may be an indication that just because we have Brawl in addition to Megs and Prime, it doesn't mean we can expect more Ldr toys on the way. Would really want Bonecrusher and Blackout. The Voyager Blackout is absolute crap.

Yeah honestly Voyager Blackout is the one worst figure in that section of class, simply because he should have been HUGE and should have been a Leaderclass if not a supreme or Ultra Class!!!

Still Wreckage shoulkd be repainted and released in Mass...but if he ends up at the Botcons, I won't buy him, and that is fine, atleast his potential is realized through a redeco..
