Dissapointment When The Figure Has No Guns/Weapons?

I feel very upset when sometimes a figure does not even have any gun/weapon. Even a gun didn't fire still at least there is something on it. Do you guys feel the same... sometimes the guns/weapons is a must have? For me most of the time it is. What good is a Transformer without it's guns

I was disapointed that Classics Cliffjumper didn't come with a very BIG gun. C'mon Hasbro, its Cliffjumper for crying out loud!

None of my TF's were sold without weapons. But of course I lost most of them for G1 and G2 :-?

Ya I hate it... What is Bumblebee supposed to do with a jet pack and no weapon? RETREAT!?

Na, never realy bothered me as I just fian appropriate weapon from another character.

Then again, I've got a box full of misc extra guns which makes that a lot easier. (I have a bad habit of buying lots of accessories on ebay).

i don't like mixing other TF's weapons into my TFs. it's just...inappropriate for me. heh. it's just my idiosyncrasy, if dont let my TF hold other TF's guns, i.e., i don't let my smokescreen hold other cybertron TF's gun, and vice versa.

that's why as much as i like classics BB, ultimately he feels like a baby without a gun. at least they coulda given him an energon knife or something!

as long as they have weapons, it's good. I am satisfied with Leader Prime's ion blaster. Nice and simple. Do they have to be projectiles? On Leader Megs I don't mind having no projectiles, although I think Leader Brawl might have benefited.

I dont mind too much.

For every figure that comes with either no weapon, or a weapon with a non-firing missile, you then get a figure like Classics Jetfire who has two firing guns as well as his backpack weapons, or Cybertron Defense Scattorshot who is overloaded with weaponry.

Don't forget his double-barreled rifle that separates into 2 pistols.. LOL

Every Transformer needs a gun.
Classics Ramjet didn't have enough firepower in my mind so
he has stolen a big gun from PM Prime.
Too bad they don't make accessory packs for Transformers like they did for the G.I. JOE's when I was a kiddie.

the lamest of the lame is when they come with missiles that fire in alt mode, but in bot mode they are supposed to be used like some kinda baseball bat.

Who the hell uses a missile as a baseball bat? Doesnt take a genius to figure out that when Armada Wheeljack cracks screamer over the head with a missile, its going to be a bad day for all involved.

I think I heard about a TF like that. His name was Grand Slam.

I don't like weapons unless.

1) i dont want to use them, i can store them on the figure somewhere

2) the weapons don't look silly, like some of the alternator/binaltech weapons

Alot of my displays have just the figures, no weapons attached!

oh , i forgot...one thing that is a disadvantage when a TF has a weapon is that most times, it has nowhere to store the weapon when it is in robot mode, forcing you to let it hold in its hands. that sucks when you want your fig displayed weaponless, you have to store the weapon else risk losing it. this is the sucky thing about projectiles also.

but still, i prefer TFs with weapons, and i very much prefer non-firing vs. projectile-loaded weaponry. less chances of losing TF parts.

I don't really mind that Classics Bumblebee didn't come with a gun, seeing as shooting Decepticons isn't really his job. He's supposed to observe, and the jetpack is fine for that.

In fact, I don't mind the lack of guns on some TFs very much at all. Less parts to lose. (conversely, Cyber Planet Keys really annoy me). I do love it when you can attach the weapons in both robot and alt mode, or even better, when the guns transform along. Classics Voyager Prime is a good example for this, I reckon.

Alternator Windcharger and Decepticharge kinda ticked me off. Where every other one got a pistol/rifle from the engine or exhaust system, they got a shield......WTF Honda? :?

I only want a weapon when it has been used in the series. Like Bumblebee 2008 using his weapon in the recent movie.

Given TFs are supposed to be at war, I do find unarmed figures annoying. That's why my Classics Bumblebee carries a rifle from a knockoff Prime.

Exactly. Though I felt BB was more of a pistol type, Cliffjumper needs a big ass rifle though. ;-)

Think I've found a pistol from another knockoff that'll suit BB, just need to modify it slightly so he can hold it. If I get Cliffjumper, I'll probably give him the rifle.

1) Honda didn't want guns. Hasbro gave into Honda after losing out on a chance for Alternators Porsche Jazz and Beetle Bumblebee when the deal fell through because they insisted on guns.

2) You're giving Cliffjumper a tiny rifle? It'd better be a cross between a rocker launcher and a sniper rifle.

3) Ramjet's guns were for decoration anyways a la his bio.
