Too much awesome there. I'm so glad I've got mine pre-ordered. I'm kinda surprised I'll have this guy before Starscream. Oh well, I guess that's one of those good sorts of problems to have.

He's pretty wicked. I'm still torn about his sneering face-guess I'll have to see it in person. I'm also debating on the wing stickers. He looks so good in all black, I almost hate adding anything else to him even though his stipes are part of what makes him Skywarp.

This is the best ever Masterpiece!
MP Prime's truck is deformed and disproportioned.
MP Ultra Magnus is just a Prime copy. Same problem.
MP Starscream has lots of quality issues, and bad coloring.
MP Megatron has skinny legs.
Only MP Skywarp makes the cut in both alt mode and robot mode. With realistic alt mode color scheme that doesn't ruin the robot mode theme.
For me, the only MP worth buying.

You know what? That mold looks even better in black than in the previous "Starscream" color. I guess I will have to pre-order him, lol. I am definitely not keeping that stupid grin on his face though...

the price is reasonable.. especially compared to starscream.. Ofcourse, it's always high when you're short on cash but these things can be found for around $80 at some asian stores. that's pretty decent.
btw,
did anyone notice how great the details in jet mode come out when he's painted black? the lights on the wingtips etc. it's so more "authentic" as both a G1 toy and a black F-15E that this might just appeal to non-TF fans as well.

I am glad that Takara came around and realized that G1 accurate colors are more important to the fans than realistic colors.

Bought mine off ebay today. $120 AUD (including postage). Not too bad. Considering I bought SS for $165 AUD (including postage).
Got every MP so far. My shelfs are running out of room.....

Yeah. This Skywarp has the most realistic alt mode. It's good enough for jet plane collectors.

Room?? Count yourself as lucky if you have room to run out of.

Thiose days are long gone for me, lol. Lately its been a case of get something, and put it directly into a storage bin.

I can't wait till April. I 'm buying a new place, and one of the features I'm looking for is a large finished basement. Line the walls with TFs, a nice big TV, a pool table and a Kegerater. Then ya'll can come hang at my place.

Good times!!

With free plane tickets to your place?
Aren't basements a bit humid? Will that be safe for TF collections?

I would never stick mine in my basement. It has a pipe leaking problem, and sometimes water will leak in from other places too. So there is a lot of mildew and mold and rust.
Is it true they have made Skywarp sturdier then Starscream? If so, what was made stronger?

I think better quality plastics. I haven't seen it yet. But really quite possible.
From my experience in Classics toys. Bumblebee and Cliffjumper are twins. But BB's plastics are obviously high quality, while CJ's plastics are like some cheap China knockoffs.
