repainting your Leader Megatron, if you have one.

Seriously, you don't have to make him on par with the standard of Jin Saotome. In fact my own repaint, compared to a lot of the ones I've seen on these forums and on Jin's website, is pretty poo. But since repainting him he has become my favourite figure (which isn't saying much, since my collection consists of only 15 toys). Out of 10, my Prime is probably 9.5 and repainted Megatron is 9.6 or 9.7. His robot mode becomes so much more worthwhile and he also becomes a much better display piece.

But we shouldn't have to repaint our figures to make them worthwhile purchases. That is what Hasbro should be doing.

I agree aswell...but I think alot of ppl model theirs after Jin's creations because his are the highest quality!

iamtrunks: Agreed. Not trying to preach to people to buy Megatron. I still refuse to buy Payload, Swindle, Dreadwing because no matter how I repaint them their lens heads still make them look like a joke.

My Ratchet repaint was modelled after Jin's almost 100%. Needless to say his is far more superb.
