Is this world going mad??? , or is it necessary to distinguish a transforming Walther P-38 from the real deal?? Is it really that big of a deal.... would a kid possibly be shot by the police or angry gun wielding citizens for waving Megs around?? Whaddya think??

Who cares about the plugs, a rust-free Megatron is the thing you should worry about.

Australian Customs actually seized MP Megatron's from entering the country. Only people who had special permits, or owned Firearm Permits could legally import him.
No such issues on the Encore figure though...

The plug is easy to remove and we have argued this to death in the past. Why must we bring it up everytime it happens?

If you read my post you'll understand why it might be necessary.

I remember when all toy guns required an orange plug. It was exactly like what sto_vo_kor_2000 said. Some kid pointed a toy gun at a police officer who thought it was a real gun. The kid got shot if I remember correctly.
In the house? I don't think he would need that cap. It I was going to move it around outside? That sucker is going back in. The fact that I live on a military base just ups the chance of me getting shot because of a misunderstanding.
