At the request of some forum members, I am posting this information in one spot so everyone that wants to upgrade their repainted Bumblebee head for a genuine custom made G1 accurate Cliffjumper head can do this.

Go From This:

To This:

First buy the head from Valkfan:
CLICK HERE TO BUY A NEW CLIFFJUMPER HEAD

IMPORTANT: Remember to KEEP the EYES from your old Cliffjumper head.

As far as paint goes:
Tamiya acrylic Bright Red (TS-49)
Tamiya Silver Leaf (TS-30)

Use a small tapping screw(unsure of the exact size) you can find them at the hobby store usually. Don't use the original screw from the old CJ head, its too big.

It's a direct replacement so just pop the old head off of the ball joint and pop the new one on.

that looks pretty cool...

Might want to start working on an upgrade for Movie Cliffjumper. If they stay with the current mold, that sucks!!

I suggest a cross between G1 Cliffjumper (kinda like you have pictured) and the stylization of Movie Bumblebee's "mask."

What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea to me.

waaaaghlord had a good idea as well when he said you could make a Tapout figure with this head.

Do you have to unscrew the back of the head before you pop it off?

Alright! Thanks. :)

That looks like the unreleased Titanium version of Cliffjumper. The alternate CJ head sculp for the planned War Within BB, that never took off.

Do you have to remove the repro head when transforming it into car mode?

Sorry guys, but I like the original head better, the new one is a little to fat for me, but to each their own. it looks good, though.

BTW, whose gun is he holding, I can't tell.

I'm also perplexed with the gun. Is that also a custom job made for CJ?

Great idea.

I often let Classic BB use Classic Prime's gun. It fits into his hand nicely.

Who is Cerebros?
(Sorry for asking. I still have to get to know a lot of TF characters that i've missed during college days without tv.) :)

I'm not a big fan of that head. I think I like the original head a little better. Don't know why...
