One of these days, hopefully when TRU has another 20% coupon, I"m going to get Primus. What is the best Cybertron character for each of the keys.
1) Earth Planet
2) Speed Planet
3) Jungle Planet
4) Giant Planet
5) Cybertron Autobot (I think Primus comes with one of these)
6) Cybertron Decepticon
7) Vector Prime Key
Am I missing any other?

That's basically it, but leaders of the various planets (all Convoys in Galaxy Force) come with gold-bordered versions of the keys that are supposed to be THE Cyber Planet Keys.

My Primus did not come with a key. Vector Prime is the only one with the Vector Prime key.
For Speed Planet, I recommend Excellion.
For Earth Planet, I recommend Smokescreen.

My first wave HotShot came with an unpainted key, I don't know if this is an oversite or the norm?
I say him for Speed Planet(sory Override sucks, so she can keep her key), Evac for Earth(StarScream had a gold chip too, but I like Evac better than StarScream in this line)beyond that, you just gotta go with the golds!
Now I have 2 loose Omega Locks, so for those, or general filler, I use either Prime, Megs, Vector Prime's, or Primus's clear key.
If I have to use Megs Decepticon key, I try and pair it with some Planet X keys to create a balance.
I however don't like using the mass produced silver keys in the Omega Lock, cause to me they're only fragments of the golden whole, and I don't think they'd give Primus the UMPH he needs!

I nominated Downshift for the Earth Key, and Undermine for the Jungle Key.
I also recommend Deluxe Unicron for the X key.

depends if you want the "actual" Cyber keys (gold borders) or the standard ones (silver borders). Looks better IMO with the gold keys. Then you need the following:
Earth— Evac or Supreme Starscream
Speed— Override or Override GTX
Beast— Scourge (not Cryo Scourge; the red & orange one)
Giant— Metroplex
If you don't care, get the silver ones and just choose the figure you like because it will probably be cheaper.

Heh, I don't really care if it's gold or silver. Just wondering what everybody thought the best character for each planet was.
Same for Vector Prime. I know his original and GF keys are a different color. Not sure about the Takara version but most reviews I've read had said to get the Takara version.
Also, is there a separate X key or is it just the decepticon cybertron key?

ugh. you have to actually get either of the overrides to have the gold key?
on a side note, personally i don't care whether it's gold or silver, as long as its a cyb key heh heh. but then, if you're using it on primus, then i guess it would be better if you used the gold-bordered keys on him. some sort of idiosyncrasy or something.

Thats why I like my unpainted HotShot speed key!
I do like using the gold keys, but I just hate the OverRide figure!

1) Earth Planet: Evac
2) Speed Planet: Excellion
3) Jungle Planet: Repugnus
4) Giant Planet: Menasor
5) Cybertron Autobot: Optimus Prime
6) Cybertron Decepticon: Supreme Starscream
7) Vector Prime Key: Vector Prime
And for

X Key: I nominate Unicron.
Although If you just buy the planet leader figures, you'll be pretty much set (bar Override)

Was looking at the galleries today. Is Galvatron's key different from the decepticon key or just more painted?

Don't listen to the Override knockers, the GTS version is a fun tf with a cool transformation.

I'd get
Jungle Planet: Snarl or Scrouge
Decepticon Key: Soundwave (awesome figure even if he's not a tape player)
Autobot Key: Leader class Prime (the original one, the repaint sucks)
Speed Planet: Excellion
