Energon megatron or cybertron megatron both really didn't have any weapon to speak and artculation was not great either. I sure other people can expand on what is wrong with these figures.

Maybe I am wrong, but there really hasn't been a really cool Megatron since, like ever.

Movie Megatron. Bad alt modes for both Leader and Voyager. Wrong colors for both, and that damned ice on that Voyager.

masterpiece Megatron: Rust issues, and is a pain to transform. Plus the scope for his cannon is too huge.

Cybertron Megatron: Too big and bulky. Odd looking thing.

Energon Megatron: Really strange looking in both modes. Clunky.

Armada Megatron: Don't know.

Beast Machines Megatron: Don't know.

Beast Wars Megatron: So-so, but his arms are just odd.

G1 Transformers: Good alt mode, odd robot mode. Not very accurate.

They make Primes look good or great, but poor Megs get a raw deal almost every time. No wonder he's always p*ssed.

Just my opinion.

I total agree. Megatron have always been weak...Cybertron Meg's design looks excellent, though. ;;)

G2 Megs was good. Great alt mode as a tank and the robot mode was huge. Almost masterpiece tall. But the color...

G.I. Joe Megatron from the titanium line is the worst ever created. That Bearbot or whatever even beats it. And sadly..that Megs was my first ever Titanium =(

Well at least the beast wars megs was a dino! :-?

And yeah that pathetic ice detailing on the voyager megs is awesome! NOT! At least the leader class megs was better then that "oh look at me, i have ice all over my body!" megs is just
]-3~&

I haven't seen all the Megs yet.

But Movie Megs will be one of the WORST, if not THE worst.

I have Leader Megs. Worst Hasbro toy i've ever had my hands on. I don't have Voyager Megs, so i won't comment on that.

I already had doubts when i was about to buy him. But i had no choice. Prime has got to have a match in my Movie collection.

Also, Leader Megs is the most expensive TF I've ever got. Simply NOT worth it.

er...

Movie Megatron. Bad alt modes for both Leader and Voyager. Wrong colors for both, and that damned ice on that Voyager.

Fair enough. Movie Megatron is lacking.

masterpiece Megatron: Rust issues, and is a pain to transform. Plus the scope for his cannon is too huge.

On the other hand, there is no rust issue. A simple cloth to clean him works. Difficult to transform isn't an issue. His giant cannon is awesome. MP Megatron was a dream for most people. Some, like myself swore he'd never exist, or if he did, not in gun form. MP Megatron is the kind of figure that will define a collection in 10 years.

Cybertron Megatron: Too big and bulky. Odd looking thing.

Too big? Bulky? What? He's different for sure, but well painted, excellently sculpted, and fully articulated. Why don't I trust your review here? Because you didn't address the one real problem with the toy: His ankles are really sorry and not supportive.

Energon Megatron: Really strange looking in both modes. Clunky.

Really awesome looking in both modes? The Energon mold is one that really does capture the essense of Megatron. From the helmet, to the cannon, to the physical presence, he's a great representation.

Armada Megatron: Don't know.

Cool, in a G1-ish way. Looks great, not too posable.

Beast Machines Megatron: Don't know.

Bad. Er. It really is. Except the head version, which is cool.

Beast Wars Megatron: So-so, but his arms are just odd.

Which version? There are at least 3 official ones.

G1 Transformers: Good alt mode, odd robot mode. Not very accurate.

This 'odd' word, you keep using it but not explaining. G1 Megatron lacks a lot. He is however, iconic. He is a requisite to having a respectable G1 collection.

They make Primes look good or great, but poor Megs get a raw deal almost every time. No wonder he's always p*ssed.

Just my opinion.

Energon Megatron was better than his Prime counterpart. Most BW Megatrons were better than their Primal counterparts. Armada is really a tie.

I think the discussion has to be fleshed out more.

Remember the useless gun mode on generation 1? why need to be held on that mode? wouldn't G1 Megs was like a target master? So i like the movie megs, he doesn't needed to be held by some Decepticon.

Dont mean 2 sound rude shortround but Energon Megs was one of the best Version of him so far in my opinion.

He transformer 2 a flying Swan Ship of death with am all the guns on it and in bot mode he paid homeage 2 Galvatron and had a Cannon arm and sword.

I admit the Cybertron Megs was lackin in the weapons department but his desgin was nuthin short but sweet 2 me

RID Megatron. 10 ultrasucky modes.

The alt mode of the Classics Deluxe (ulitmate battle, alt mode is a tank) looks good, but in bot mode, that stupid spinning-action baton he has falls off his arm too easily, and I had TERRIBLE problems transforming him because one of his shoulder joints gets locked so tightly in place that the arm comes off, then I fix the joint using pliers, and then re-attach his arm. The whole Ultimate Battle TRU exclusive set is for sucks (as the Prime in that set is my worst Prime too)

hands down it's movie megs for me. that piece of trash is such a debacle its scary. there's just way too much wrong with it so there's no point in trying to name all the mistakes. i don't even like to call it megatron it's so horrible.

I don't like G1 Megatron toy either. :P
But at least his cartoon is ok. Good bot figure, good voice, interesting personality.

While Movie Megatron has bad toys. And worst CGI design, so-so voice, and dumb personality.

Im like %99 sure that titanium war within Megatron is the worst ever this thing is built like the biggest pc of sh*t god it pisses me off it dangles like a marrionette puppet and the arms and legs fall off at least five times per super simple transformation ( which by the way the alt mode doesnt look like it fits together properly either) ALL IN ALL PIECE OF CRAP!
:CON: :CON:

The arms and legs of my Titanium Scourge falls down easily too. I don't mean detach. I mean it's so loose. It's very difficult to get him to stand upright.

But the legs do come off easily also. At the knee.

Is this a problem of all Titanium?

Im very surprised E megs is getting so much stick, he's one of my fave megs, along with (the admitedly oddly proportioned) G1 Megs.

Now, Cyb and Movie megs, those are bad... BAD BAD BAD.

My WWI megs is pretty sturdy, though his transformation and altmode are utter meh. But I wouldnt class him as a bad megatron, justn ot a great transformer (he does look VERY menacing in robot mode).

Now the first titianium Megs (GIJoe?), that looks like the POS to end all POSs.

Well, he needs to be held? What kind of i deo is that what if starscreams just doesn't fell like to hold him, or maybe in the old tf movie, if megs transformed but starscream refuses to use him and throws him out of the shuttle huh?
