This is strange. I just got my MP-01 Optimus and he's got Grimlock and Megatron on his wrist communicators, not Bumblebee and Starscream. This is DEFINITELY an MP-01, not an MP-04. It came in an unopened MP-01 box with a cardboard trailer. What's going on here? Why does my MP-01 have the MP-04 wrist communicators?

Maybe somebody switched the figures, after having carefully peeled back the tape without tearing it, to hide what they'd done. But why would anyone do that?

mine has grimlock and megs too, but mine isnt mp its the latest version of 20th anniversary prime. i hope yours didnt get switched with a 20th ann prime. post pics if you can.

It's definitely an MP-01. The packaging is Takara MP-01, the smoke stacks are long, and the paint job is MP-01 - a darker red with NO battle damage.

Fenrir72 must be right. The second run of MP-01 must have the MP-04 wrist communicators.

I don't really care either way about who's on the communicators, I was just confused is all.

Something else I've noticed is the misaligned chest plate that others have complained about. Mine, though, is kind of ridiculously misaligned compared to the pictures I've seen. Will post a pic tonight if I can.
