More than one can chew

I recently moved. It took forever, but I nearly got one of my 2 TF rooms into a shape that I like.

Well I use track shelving as sometimes you have to make adjustments to your displays.

But as I said, I got everything to an aceptable stage.

Well today I woke up with a wild hair up my ass to move one shelf(wich actualy holds 7 shelves ontop of it).

Well I tore down the shelves in the way, moved the 1 I wanted to, and realized that I now have to dismantle more shelves to fit the one I want into it's new place, and have most of my bots back in boxes.

I have the 1 shelf that I wanted to move set up, and it's looking dam good!

But it's getting late on a Sunday, and I have another 7 more shelves to reset. I went into this thinking "YEAH, I CAN DO IT". But now beer time and energy are starting to work against me, and I'm pretty much right back in that "Just Moved In" boat.

Anyone else ever been stupid like this? I'd love to hear your stories.

-----------

However, it's not all bad as now I do get to experience most of my loose bots again!

Still, if you can share, please do! And if you live in Northern NJ, pick up some beers and lend a hand

I have a total of four shelves, but I've found that when I want to arrange things on one shelf, I have a problem on the others. I have one shelf with all of my "tall" bots on it doing the YMCA with the remainder of my Primes in disco poses, and I have another shelf with all of my planes. The other two shelves are...messy, to say the least.

 i do that type of thing every once in a while, i'll get that hair up my ass too and i'll have the urge to re-arrange some of my dispays. I'll get a great vision on how it will look when im done but it sometimes just makes me feel off balance and i end up moving everything back EXACTALLY how it was...

Thats **** awesome! Let me get my cameras and we can stop motion that!

Also if balanced right, a sturdy Optimal Optimus can do a single hand stand!

Here it is

Since that picture, I have put RID Prime and Classics Prime in the same pose as Classic Deluxe prime, and tweaked War Within Prime's stance. Just now Concept Camaro BB joined the fun.

My friend, you are a Giant among insects!

All my bots are either in stances, battle poses or some other type of funtional pose, doing something contemplative, knocked the hell down, or excedira, excedira...

Your guys are having a fine ol' time!

Good for them, and you.

I got some jokes in my other displays(and dam my cameras charging) McFarlaine Freddy Kruger pinching Mcfarline Tifany's ass. Iron Maiden's Eddie drinking with Marv from Sin City. Hell even a toy Liege Evilmus sitting in a chair spiking a cup of coffee!

But my bots, I have to many and turn to them when I get writers block, so they are kinda stuck in a more serious phase.

Still, I enjoy them, and can do so even more now as you have me thinking that the bots not caught up in struggles should relax and have some fun!

If I can't set that up now, than when!?!

this scene started out with DVD Prime in the middle of a migraine but when I got his hands on his head something more sinister came to mind. I'm glad it inspired you, all robots should have a good time. Once your camera is charged, you should upload some pics to the "show off your stuff" thread I linked...I'd like to see some of that.

Gadly!

Again, TFs are a strong passion of mine. But I write and draw alot of origional not even closely related to TF stuff.

So when things get to serious or repeditive there, I turn to my toys (especialy my TFs) get lost in them for a while, refresh my mind, and either get back to work or make a sandwhich :D

Still here's some picks to hold you over. Again I wish I could do that shelf I just set up now! But I just looked at it and am now thinking how much cooler would it be if it was 2 feet over :-?

God I gotta stop!

Nice Scouter!

C'mon, how many times have you said "Over Nine Thousand" in your Prime Scouter Helmet? (or are you like me, and dont get what all the fuss is about?)

I did a big re-arrange of my figures to accommodate the movie figures properly. Took me about 8 hours over 4 days to get them all in a way I liked. Also 3/4 filled a 52 litre tub of figures that no longer fit on the shelves.

WOW I never knew they sold a toy scouter like that.

DBZ was one of my fav shows. I remember when I made my own, I used an old green sunglasses lense and a camera covering for a base.

Where did you get that?

My friend, I'm up to 13 boxes full now, 9 shelves stacked, and (somehow) 23 brackets on the floor.

If this was the bigining of the weekend...

 FUN  (unless there's something better to do)

But it's Sunday night, and dawn is the enemy! I just tore down an other 3 shelves because the main one I wanted to set up I felt would be better moved over just a bit. The sadest part is, I realy liked what I had on those!
------------------------------------------
And by the way I_AMTRUNKS, I didn't score that case of scouters, but my Taiwan hook up is still sending me a couple. One has your name on it. When it gets here I'll let you know. All I'll need is an address, I have no time for being pestered with shipping cost details, so this is on me. Consider it "THANKS" for being just an overall good guy.

To the rest of you, take notes or get your own :P

Whenever I reset my room, it takes like a week to do.

It's actually a logistical feat.

Sometimes I get tired and take a nap (or drink 3 beers, same thing really) and all of a sudden I'm 4 years old again; sleeping in the middle of my unkempt toys.

Man I called in sick to work today to handle this

They think I have a sinus infection, when if anything I'm just hung over :P

Still, FULLY setting up my TF rooms are is something that will never be completely done, but I hate looking at bots in boxes!

I get distracted and start transforming figures, shooting their missiles at the cat etc etc. Makes the whole deal go for about twice as long, but thats what I have them for!
