I recently found a few Soundwaves at my local ghetto TRU that usually has nothing, yet I see him I want to buy him since I never had him and want their to be more reissues, yet I still want him to be unbought and be clearanced for around 10 dollars so I could buy 2 perhaps.
Does anyone else have this dubious problem or is it just me.

I almost never see him on shelves and getting him off ebay can be a costly endeavour, so when I finally saw one, I bought it right away.

I clicked on this thread for the sole reason that it appears in the Toys Forum to be "CLassics Soundwave reissue quilt" due to the g being underlined... unless this is the Soundwave reissue quilt, in which case, I am sorry I missed the original Soundwave quilt.

Same here. Only mine came from a guy in California, who had gotten it from HK. English box and everything. Only problem was, he had already put the stickers on the "batteries".
Actually, now that I think of it...he did an immaculate job, and with my unsteady hands, I would've screwed them up...

just you. when I saw him I bought three. IMHO, I don't think he will ever get clearenced. He is too popular. I even heard a few 10 year olds at TRU the last time I went asking about him. They knew all about him (warmed my little black heart)

I'll sell you mine for $150 in a few months.

These will never go on clearance. They''ll just end up on e-bay at at least twice the price.

I already have the original Soundwave, and while I rarely buy transformers anymore (I just go for G1, and the occational Classic or Alternator, I don't have a single A\E\C figure), I bought this guy the instant I saw him in the store (mostly because my old Soundwave isn't in good shape). Well worth the 30 bucks.

Its just you. When i saw him i dropped evrey thig else i had and bought him. True Story. I had Classics Ramjet and Mirage in my hands saw SW they feel to the floor and Soundwave was mine. If i were you id buy one now just to be safe. If later on you find him for $10 buy two more. Paint one into soundblaster and keep the other in the box.

Nope, bought one as soon as I saw him. DO NOT wait for him to go on clearance because he will not be there that long. If you don't get him, someone else will.

I agree I saw him at my Toysrus and got 2. One to open one for display purposes. He'll never be marked down.

Yes, yes, I caved, went back to get one, and they were all gone,I called around and found one that someone had asked to be held and never went to pickup, I know the guys that work at TRU there are clueless, but they claimed that since( the tag) was left there that meant they would get more, I am sure it is not true.
I am actually not going to sticker mine I think, maybe the battery and knee stickers, my Laserbeak has a bent wing or either I am completely transforming him wrong, also Sounwaves right leg is kinda gimpy.
Is this a common problem or is it just me as well.

I was haunting my local TRU for a couple of weeks looking for SW with no luck. Went in there one night with the same results and was about to leave when I noticed two guys hauling pallets out of the back to restock the 'boys' toy section. I hung around for about 10 minutes reading boxes everytime they went back to get another pallet full until I saw a box of SWs. I yanked the box out from the bottom of the stack, pulled out my pocket knife, cut the box open and was at the checkout before they came back with another load.

It's the 4th time the mold has been used.
Problems, are bound to arise. So, it's probably not just you.

Funny, you don't know nothing about Transformers (or collectible items). By the way, I'll sell you my Takara one for $200 or my Soundblaster (Black Soundwave with double deck) for $300.

My soundwave has no problems. other than the battery cover being a little hard to snap into place. Other than that all the joints are as tight as my simi-mint cassettman. A little to tight i think.
