Two auctions over at Chinese auction site TaoBao are giving us some new looks of "Transformers" Voyager Metallic Ratchet in-box, and "Accurate" Megatron in and out-of-box. Like we have seen before, both boxes are sporting "Best Buy Exclusive" stickers. This further adds to the credibility of both figures' exclusivity to the big-box retailer.

Just shiny versions of their Voyager forms.
Would have been better to release them at the same time as the originals, neither figure is worth a 2nd purchase.

Which is why I waited. I like shiny, but I have to agree the brown hands are a bit out of place.

lolwtf, Best Buy sells TFs now?
I haven't yet bought a Ratchet, since I've been holding out for Rescue Ratchet, but that one looks mighty tempting.

I'm still waiting for Rescue Ratchet, and skipping Megatron altogether.
Would it be worth taking the hands off entirely Tigertracks? Certainly would improve the look of the figure.

Im' guessing they're gonna be out in october. Afterall, bestbuy needs something to make shoppers buy the dvd there. Im guessing if the dvd gets bought u get some discount on one of em. I doubt they would make it free with the dvd, but you never know

Yeah, in my TF desperation I went to Best Buy today and nothing. I heard some people in the Sightings Board report seeing TFs at Best Buy, and I think they're just crazy, because TFs aren't even listed on Best Buy's website.

I will probably pick up the Megatron since I don't own a movie Megatron yet. I probably won't get the Ratchet since I already have Rescue Ratchet. I just hope it doesn't cost to much more then the regular Voyager figures as money will be tight for me next month.

That Megatron looks much better than the original. But its still not a very well designed toy and the scale too small. So I'll pass.
Metallic Ratchet should be nice, but I picked Rescue Ratchet over it. So I'll pass as well.

Not too interested in them, so they are passable for me.

Well, as soon as I found out about these figures, I've been keeping my eye out for word of them from work (yes, I work at Best Buy)... No sign of them, but with the DVD coming out mid-October, I assume they're part of a DVD-purchase tie-in... (Buy the movie, get the figure free -or for a nominal fee)
I already have a Ratchet, but I think that the Metallic Megatron would compliment my Robo-vision Optimus, and intend on picking them up on the 16th -assuming that it's tied-into the DVD release!

Not sure, I'm picturing it without, and it looks campy too. I do not have V-Megs (skip), so I have not taken a good look. Might be worth a try.
PQP- You'd get it no matter what, me thinks.

You sir are a prophet.
But, honestly, I really don't have a problem with the brown hands, I still think that it looks great.
That and I love the Ratchet mold, so there.

No confusion, I was just having fun.
If your local Best Buy is anything like mine, you should get there early, argue with the sales people about merchandise they should have out already, and then randomly stop back in about a month to find they have finally put siad merch out.
BB Exclusive FTW!!!! BFF!!! QFT!!!
