Stopped at Family Dollar after school today, and literally gasped at what I saw: Cybertron Galaxy Force Optimus Prime and Metroplex for $20 each. Didn't have the money for them, so I had to leave 'em, but apparently Cybertron leader class figures are available at Family Dollar now. I only saw one of each though. And didn't see any new Universe figures. They still had three boxes of the first wave, so it's even more a shock they even had the leader guys.

Hey, have I actually stumbled up something news worthy???

Ohh very nice. both great figs. Anybody missing either one., 20 bucks is a great price.

If anyone ever sees a Galvatron there, I would seriously be interested in buying one. Chances are slim, I know, but if you see one, let me know!

Oh, is this not common knowledge? We've had Cybertron Ops and Metroplex at the local Family Dollar for at least the past few weeks... doesn't seem like anyone's interested in them. With them being on the top shelf and with Family Dollar being so darned disorganized, I'd be surprised if anyone other than myself actually realized they were there!

They've also got the old Universe scout figures and a whole bunch of Quick Change KOs -- which, again, are likely missed by the majority of customers since they're hidden amidst the pet food and patio furniture.

There are two of the stores about 5 minutes away in two different directions away from me I will scour both.

im guessing its the red and black prime not red and blue...correct?

Damb I wish we had Family Dollar here in Canada. I already have the original and GF repaint of Cybertron Prime, but I'd pick up another to repaint at that price!

I just checked the one by me and all they had were tons of Universe / spychangers / and 2 Cybertron Metroplexes.

It appears to only be the Leader class from the "Primus Unleashed" wave.

Correct, at least regarding the one I saw at our Family Dollar. If it'd been the red and blue one, I totally would've gotten it.

I've known about this for awhile now. I picked up Prime and passed on Metroplex.

are there this "family dollar" in los angeles? we have a bunch of dollar and bargain stores, but i doubt its the"family dollar" that you guys speak of.

No Dollar Generals in all of the West Coast.

Only "Dollar" store we have is Dollar Tree.

Well damn, I was at Family Dollar last week and they didnt have those?? I did get the Windrazor and Perceptor. But didnt see those guys. Might have to go check.

There is a Big Lots right next door to FD, and they had a ton of knock off Devastators. They any good?

It's a give or take. One FD near me had the GFOP and Metro three weeks ago. One other one had it as of last week. Haven't seen any at the others but they may have just been bought. I think each FD is getting one box of OP/Metro each. $20 is not bad though. I thought this was common knowledge also. I mentioned it in a post two weeks ago and everybody ignored it. I doubt that we'll get anything other then OP and Metro since they were part of the last wave. I was praying for Hasbro to send the extra Primus' to FD for $25 but it looks like with the TF drought that they all got sent to Walmart instead. @$^%%^#

I also picked up Arcee, Perceptor, and Windrazor... The Metroplex was not in the same area. They were two isles down on the Top Shelf. The spychangers were also in a different area... I guess you just need to go through the whole store just to make sure you aren't missing anything.
