I believe thats what the topic is supposed to be about...
Nor do I think that is what Cunterpunch actually meant... I read his post more like "no one, the new movie characters should be original characters", rather than the "lets move on, forget the movie" way you seem to have interpreted it.

Why turn the characters we know and love into deformed insectoid looking figures, that have QC issues, general quality issues, and lacklustre transformations.
Leave all that for the figures from TF2.
And let Classics deal with the new versions of older characters, thats what it is there for.
