Ok, I was working on customizing my voyager Megs today (will ppst in kitbash forum within the next month, keep an eye out!) When something popped into my head: Nobody ikes the blue paint on Leader Megatron. Well, I was looking at some paint remover in my aorkspace when something popped into my head: is the blue on him actually THE plastic or is it paint painted on the plastic?? If it is ideed paint, there may be a more simple may to 'fix' it than paint it again: simply take the paint off!

This 'is the paint painted or molded color' question goes for:

Voyager Blackout's head's black, Deluxe Scorponok's stupid white/black (I forget which color it is) writing on him, and Vyager Blackout's mini scorponok's black?

Is there any way the paint can be removed?

From what i can tell, the blue on Megatron is spray paint. But not normal grade spray paint. Industrial stuff, whatever they are called. They are always a lot more 'sticky' than any normal model paint you can find, and eats into the plastic. So I doubted its easy to find a paint solvent that can remove them easy. But let us know if you do find something working.

I've always want to know what base paint they are using, because they stay on so good. They would be great for customs that you want to play with, without worrying rubbing off or scratches.
