How are they different from Legends or Minicons?

Also, everytime I try to do a search I get 0 results. Anybody else have that problem?

I have the same problem with the search. I'm in IT and I can't even figure it out LOL...

SEARCH function is messed up.

The WST or World's Smallest Transformers, are miniature sized versions of vintage G1 figures, with a little bit of simplification of the transformations.

There a size is smaller than a AA battery, maybe closer to AAA height size.

Many KO version have been made, after they nixed the line prematurely.

Some pics for your pleasure. Note, I have many KO's mixed in with the real.

The thing I love most about the WST line is that the name says it all.

What I dont like is the crazy prices ebay.au has, $25 for a KO version, and up to $50 for Thrust and Prime :-x

These are pretty nice little figures, but need to be careful as some can be fragile due to their size. Kind of like mini capsule toys. I only got Prime & Megatron set from an issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine couple years ago. And the best part is that, its a freebie that came with that issue.

Man... this has peaked my interest. I got a KO Clear Prime and I love it.

Oh boy... another line to collect... Just when I thought I was almost done.

Gotta add these to my BST thread.

How can you tell it isn't a KO? I want to be sure I get the right ones.

I love the WST line, especially the convoy & trailer, my sig says it all. Also acquired full black version of convoy+trailer, next time I will do an updated group shot and create a new sig.

I'm not into those clear version KOs, so that holds up a bit of my sanity.

Common ebay prices:

Prime (wave 1 with black window): $10-$20 + shipping
Prime (wave 2 anime version with blue window): $5-$10 + shipping
Megatron: $7-$10 + shipping

Other figures:
abundant availability ones: $0.01-$6 + shipping
average availability ones: $3-$8 + shipping
rare chase figures: $25-$50 + shipping

NOTE: be sure to pay attention to how much seller is charging for shipping too.

Hope the above info helps.

Cheers!

Wow, sweet collection!

I have a bunch of WST's, but I only collect certain characters. I own the KO Grimlock and Prime's Trailer, because I didn't want to shell out the insane amounts of cash just for a trailer.

WSTFs arent that easy to come by these days, but are worth every penny.

I'd highly recomend giving any and all your WSTFs the Reprolabel treatment, it makes an amazing difference.

It would also make an amazing difference to my sanity and patience, if I tried to do that. As in I would have none of either left!!!

What's the difference between the Megatron and the special edition version of the toy?

Special edition has the blue interior legs, not red.
