Walmart MP Starscream... WHEN?!?!?

Ok guys and gals,
The original news on Hasbro.com and from the Botcon said that MP Starscream at Walmart was being released in September...
Here we are, the middle of September and I havent heard or seen squat!!! Anybody hear or see anything yet??
I know if he had been spotted it would be on here, but maybe we have some inside info from Walmart somehow?? I check Walmart.com twice a day to see if a pre-order pops up and check my local stores (but we all know how fruitless that is right now).
So any news out there? Something?

We've seen info stating both September and October. I'd guess we'll start seeing reports of his release closer to the beginning of October rather than any time this month.

I was just going on Hasbro's info...Truth be told, I'll count myself lucky if I see him before Christmas.

I'm not freaking out about it by any means. Hell, I am patient beyond belief. It would just be nice to get SOME news, even if it was news of postponement.
I just like planning ahead, thats all...deciding between Starscream and Skywarp while he is still pretty available.

Wow. You're just a treasure trove of useful information.
Anywho, zatara1701, until someone gets us a copy of the UPC (which is on the box and there have been a couple of auctions with ones that were MISB...) no one's going to be able to actually check for the information we need.
No one even has the Wal-Mart number for it either.

I have good news! And I spoke too soon...
I found the UPC number for Starscream! We can now have Wal-Mart associates check for him!

I got the information from this picture:
http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d75/b ... ing_07.jpgP.S. has anyone seen Wal-Mart's new slogan? "Save Money. Live Better." I'm not sure which is worse..."Always Low Prices, Always." or this new one.

Anyone know the turnover time between appearing on Walmart.com and actually having it available in stores? I think that'd be the best indicator of when it's coming out.

I just called one of my local Wal-Marts and gave the woman the UPC. She said it's not on record, either at the store or the home office. She said it's also not on their fall modular and that if it is a Wal-Mart exclusive, she's heard nothing about it.
I'm inclined to believe Hasbro/Botcon over her, but I heard her put the code in the Telzone and I heard the beeps. So I know she told me only what she knows...so it is quite confusing.
I know that doesn't answer the time issue in your question, but it might answer whether or not we'll even see the figure, online or not. (I sure hope it's not a Wal-Mart.com exclusive.)

Not the movie one. They are talking about the Masterpiece Line which is about the G1 Transformers.

I would expect it to show up about the same time the DVD is released.

I'll be really lucky to ever see this one, since my past luck with Wal-Mart TF exclusives is awful.

If SS follows in Prime's footsteps, I'll find about 20 of him on clearance at every Walmart in town.

Sorry to bump, but I figured there was no point in starting a new thread that would most likely get locked. "Why start a new thread? We have a million on this guy! You know better than that!" etc... so, without further ado:
A post on ATT made a good point. (I'm not sure it's been covered in any of the Starscream threads on here)
....could he be a Black Friday exclusive?
1.) Hasbro says he's shipping to stores now.
2.) His information doesn't show up in any computer at Wal-Mart.
If he was a BF exclusive, that would explain all of it. He literally could be shipping to stores, but they have to sit on the cases and keep them in the back until Black Friday. Not to mention, they can't presell anything that's related to BF, they're locked out of the system. It would also explain why the BotCon tag said November. The official site's been wrong before (and definitely in this case) they said September, and well...it's now October.
Hmm. I'd hope he wouldn't be though, because once he's sold out, he's gone. They won't receive more shipments of a BF item (unless they plan to carry said item full time at an adjusted price, later on)
Well, if it is the case, I will be there in line, before 6:00 AM, and I will be one of the first to the back of the store to get him in my clutches. I will claw anyone who tries to bogart my 'Screamer.
"BACK OFF MAN! BACK I SAY!" *claws*

Do you know how aweful that would be? If that's the case, I'll just start saving now to buy him on eBay. I just can't see myself crawling out of bed at 4:30 AM to be standing out in front of Walmart the day after Thanksgiving. Walmart on BF is HELL ON EARTH!
Could this be true-definitely. But let's hope not.
