o.k. with all the battle damaged figures come out now a days. I have been wondering this back during the headmasters series could they have done a battle damaged soundwave and blaster figures or during that battle were both of them damaged so much that the only way you could have found the pieces was with a metal detector or was it more like megatron and optimus primes battle from the movie were there was some structual damage but most of it was internal.

Thanks so soundwave would have been next impossible to do because he was blown into little peices, but blaster would have been easy to do because all that got damaged on him was his front of cassete deck area. At least that is my thought because I don't think the technology was there to create a figure that was as battle damaged as soundwave since in the clip it showed laserbeak flying away with soundwaves head. I know they did a battle damaged cp3o from starwars around the same time as this I think, but I wonder what other people think would you have bought or would you buy soundwave that has that kind of battle damage on it.

damaged transformers wouldnt work too well as it would also affect their ability to transform.

As for re-enacting that scene it wold have to be as some sort of statue with both of the combatants and there minions collecting the parts (like ratbat with soundwaves head)

really i personally do not think its a good idea, i wouldnt buy it and i dont think it warrants making.

As far as damaged figures go id love to see zombie prime when hes raised from the autobot mausoleum. The sacrifice at the end of the episode with primes bdy being torn apart was very cool. till all are one

But blaster wasn't blown up he had internal damage and some structal damage, unlike soundwave who was completly blown to pieces well at least we know were there spark is now it is in there head because that was only part from soundwave that was salvaged.

i had a bootleg G1 soundblaster. when i took it apart to correct some misassmbled parts, some of the parts literally crumbled!!!! so if you need a battle-damaged soundwave, just pick up a bootleg soundblaster, disassemble it, paint it blue then try to assemble it again. :D
