I got titanium Soundwave and I hate him. Hate hate hate hate hate him. Makes the original's reissue look like a modern master piece. This titanium line is like a roller coaster. Am I the only one that dislikes this figure.. a lot?
Here's what I don't like:
Diaper crotch
Legs pop out so easily, especially during transformation
Legs are loose on my figure for this reason, can't hold many poses without falling down
The upper robot body is better than the lower, but even the upper isn't so great. Head sculpt is iffy.
Cassette mode is shaped more like a mini boombox or an mp3 player or something.
Looks like the upcoming megatron is going to be just as bad. Can't wait for Magnus... Please don't let me down MAGS!

I hate the legs. They make me very angry. The right leg on mine is constantly collapsing. Also, on a side note, Rodimus Prime's hollow torso makes me feel very sad.

Well, it would seem I'm not alone in this cold, cruel world. I got Titanium Soundwave for Valentine's Day.......I took my G1 Soundwave of of his box & started playing w/him. Even Titanium Laserbeak was better than Soundwave. Only problem I have w/Soundwave is:
The Diaper Crotch
The instability of the legs in robot mode
No Cover for the batteries/cannons
Cassette Mode is more of a Blaster-type
Other than that, he's proudly standing next to Titanium Scourge.

Oh, is that all.
I proudly passed on this one and went for Rodimus instead, although from the side, it DOES look like Rodimus has been in a tragic hunting accident.

I hate the figure, in the nicest way possible.
I realize it is crappy, full well. The design flaws are pretty outstanding.
But still, I actually like
having the figure. He blends in better with my Classics than either the G1 reissue, or Cybertron Soundwave. So, He stays...for now.
dun dun
DUN.

i feel the same way. I also hate that Rods legs are so frackin hard to move up. the torso pops off evrey time i try to transform him. The figures look great on display but if you want to play with them or move them good luck.

I'm not a huge fan of Titanium Soundwave. Not too bothered about the look of him, i just hate that his legs keep collapsing.
I tried posing him a few times but couldn't get him to stay up.
So now he is back in his box, at least that way he looks pretty good without scaring the crap out of me when he hits the deck!

The Titainium line is very much a line I will be picking and chosing from (if they EVER actully apear in the shops that claim to stock them). I refuse to buy the fugly excuse for dirtydaiperwave.

all the titanium line suffers from heavy metal and cheap light plastic.
The legs end up too heavy and restrictive and the rest is so flimsy that its easy to break pieces off. Also its really hit or miss on the mold. Some are great others are really poor looking.
Availability is also really spotty, we haven't seen Soundwave or Rodimus here in North Dakota yet.

You think they're hard to find? Man, I have them, & I stil don't see 'em in stores. I didn't even go buy them, my brother has this way of finding stuff. Don't ask me how, but that's how i get my Titaniums......now if only they were back at that glorious price of $4.99.........*sigh*

Ok, so im a sucker for anything that remotely resembles/is labled G1...Cant wait for Titanium G1 Ultra Magnus

Hey. Least you weren't the first one to get Titanium Megatron on all the forums. I still haven't regained that part of my soul that was stolen by opening the package.

Ouch, I consider myself lucky that I was so well warned on this line. I couldn't imagine going in thinking I'm about to get some awesome diecast figures and then get hit with all the problems. It'd probably be enough to have me on the roof chucking titaniums at people... only thing is I'd never hit anyone because all the pieces would fly off in different directions before they actually hit anyone.
Seems like the upcoming megatron is going to be a repeat. Magnus looks good, oh God please let Magnus be good.
On a different note, I find it sort of odd that we had already seen all of the titaniums back around summer of last year? I remember pics being shown really early for these guys, and now the only new figure pics we've seen are all repaints, is the line going the way of the dodo or can we expect something at SDCC?

Man I give Hasbro credit for trying to do right by us collector/fans by actually offering toys based on popular albeit defunct comic book designs but this is a shaby line. I'm a huge Soundwave guy but the pics alone last summer of that rediculas crotch put me off to be sure. If you need a classic rep of Megs old loyal right hand man go with Cybertron Soundwave. I dig the **** out of that guy and it fits in well in my eyes with my classic cons. I bought the first two prime/megatron tits and was left with a **** sandwich taste in my mouth. Prime coulda been great if not for the rubbish breakaway arms...oui veigh. I'm on the fence about Scourge and The Fallen but F that crap half assed Soundwave. TX out.

I agree, I only have soundwave because I receieved him as a gift. I would NEVER have bought him. Never.
I agree that cybertron Soundwave is awesome with the classics. Soundwave has always been the same height as Megatron, so it only makes sense that Soundwave should be voyager size to go with Classics Megs. That or the original Soundwave surprisingly fits in pretty well.
I'd say go for Scourge. I passed on all the titaniums but picked up Scourge and he's very good and looks great with classics. Same for Rodimus Prime, I was so happy when I found him because he looks great (aside from the stomach area). Magnus will be next on my list. The only other titanium I have is Prime (I broke down and got him after I got scourge thinking it wouldn't be bad, and it was), and Thundercracker. I recommend TC, but since he's pre-g1 he doesn't really fit in with classics. But since there is no Classics Thundercracker, I have him in there anyway.

My Soundwave is floppy too. Just got it today. The legs stay extended when in robot mode, however, where the left leg connects to the hip likes to slide rather freely if you lift him up.

I gave in and bought Titanium Soundwave. I think he looks pretty nice, and the diaper-crotch doesn't look as bad in person, I think. Of course, my titanium transformers are only for display, so any looseness of the joints shouldn't be much of a problem.

I'm perfectly content with my MISB reissue Soundwave.
It is unclear why it is worth mentioning that a two-week old figure is mint inside the box, at any rate.

After WWI Prime and crappy Megatron, I actually like the Titanium figures. I just got a bunch of them and Soundwave and
Jetfire are awesome in my opinion. The one that surprised me was Optimal Optimus....I have the BW figure but don't really care for him that much, but his Titanium is pretty cool. RID Prime is a real good figure as well. If I don't like a figure then I'm not going to buy it, so I can live with the flaws or problems of the ones I like enough to purchase. I think the only Titanium I'll pass on is Cheetor, but that's because I'm really not a Cheetor fan.
