Hi again!

I was thinking of getting this bay in the near future. but I have some questions that some of you guys might answer =)

1) What do you get? I know that Starscream and the other Masterpiece toys came with some cool extra stuff like energon axes, energy flail, kremzeek etc.

2) I've heard that Starscream was kind of fragile, is it the same here? Mostly I'm going to have him for display, but I do want to be able to transform him from time to time without breaking him ^^

3) is there any page on the web where I could check more than just the box art of him? Seibertron do have one fantastic archive of pictures, but not yet of him.

Well, that would be all I can think of as of now.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but does he come with a black Archeville? and is the pistol (megatron) included as well?

Do you have any comments about his durability?

Sadly the Megatron pistol is not included, I wish it was.

But he is super sexy and comes with the black Archeville. And he is reasonably durable from what I've seen, I gave him quite a few sharp tugs when the joints were stiff.

I actually used the search function on the forum but nothing turned up. As I only wished to read about the masterpiece edition I inlcuded the word masterpiece. but I got no results at all :S
So i simply started up a new thread ^^

Counterpunch meant you should check the first few pages of the forum for what you want before posting a new topic. I usually go to page 4. If nothing, post away!

And that whole "Counterpunch is a total douche" thing is just a running gag around here. He's really not. That's Punch's job.

I acctually only tried the search, as it didn't turn up with anything I didn't bother to check my self. I'll do that next time ^^

But all in all, it seem to me as Skywarp is worth his money, so I'll probably get him, thanks for all the help guys and if you have more info on him, please post them here... or at the other thread

Nah, just trying to indoctrinate you. As you can see, I've been converted into a believer. However, he's a necessary evil and sure makes things fun. Occasionally, he's right too!

I must admit that one does feel welcome here very quickly

Ah, finally my first masterpiece transformers arrive!

A beautiful, Beautiful jet-black, um, jet, complete with a nice set of machineguns, missiles, um, Black mad scientist and a holder for a gun that wasn't included

I unpacks it as fast as I can, removing the tape carefully and makes sure not to damage anything of the packing...

then I start reading the manual and transforms it (after spending a good deal of minutes just admiring the plane ^^)

after about 15 minutes I discover that the head isn't attached... the first bloody masterpiece I buy, and it's broken! can you believe it?

it's not that it's broken during transport, it's just that the head has never been attached! the plastic is whole and everything, they have just placed the head on his shoulders and then transformed it!
gah!!!

i really hope I can return it and get a new from BBTS. Otherwise I'll have to try and repair it my self, something I don't know if the figure will survive.

oh Woe...

Cant you just pop the head back on? Isn't it on a ball joint?

I wish I could, but it's not where it's off... the entire head, complete with the ball joint has never been attached

the only way to fix it would be to hammer out the metal rod that runs throught Skywarps shoulders, and then to reattach the head and put the rod back

Having occasional QC problem with Deluxe toys is acceptable. But sloppy work for an $80 Masterpiece? That's not good.

Well I've made contact with them now and it seems they are trying to help me atleast ^^
As soon as I've got them to understand what the problem is (they think it's broken at the ball joint, or that I'm missing the head) they'll probably have me return it and send a new one.
The problem is that I have a sinking feeling of having to pay the shipping yet again....$36 hurts when you have to pay it more than once -.-"
