So I know this has been brought up before? The person or individuals on ebay with the user names p***d etc. buying up all the high end high priced TF auctions.

I used to collect halo action figures a couple years ago, so I decided to check out how they were doing on ebay. Just like with the transformers someone or group using the three (x***x) is also buying up high end halo toys.

I was just wondering if anyone has any info on this buyer? It is so damn strange. It sorta seems like a virus spreading through out the world of action figures.

I certainly hope they are not buying them to hold the world at ransom....or even worse, planning to melt all known action figures in a large vat of acid....mooo-ha ha ha.

This was brought up before and the answer isn't nearly as complicated as people think.

It's just eBay's system for an xtra layer of protection or something like that. They jst show the first and last letters of someone's screen name then fill in the rest with "*" So Ebaybuyer52 would be E*********2.

I wouldn't worry about this person or people buying them all. This happens all the time on eBay. Usually they spend thousands and then disappear. Even if one person bought every transformer auction for a month you will still see that the next month will have plenty of new auctions. The supply has a limit but know one can own the vast majority and if they do have that kind of cash I would hope they could find som actual good to do with it besides cornering the secondary G1 market.

Also keep mind in mind that eBay flourishes on rich people with egos! Some just don't like to lose no matter the cost. I once sold a Golobus (GI Joe) figure for $108 for this very reason. That figures sells on eBay for $5-10, usually, if it sells at all. My 2 pennies. PGT

SOmebody has been busy stockpiling these items. Whoever wins the bidding would definitely improve his collection.
