HTM-01 Bumblebee???

I'm not at home right now but I just remembered that I have a model type Bumblebee that comes in tons of pieces. Best I can remember is that it's in a Black box and I believe it said HTM-01 on it. When completed he transforms into his Pre-Earth Cybertronian form.

Can anyone verfiy that this is it's name and how rare are they??? :???:

Also this Topic is accidently in the Transformers Movie Forum, where I got this answer.

the purifyer wrote:It's a JD Productions HTM-01 Bumblebee. Basically it's a garage model kit of War Within Bumblebee released in limited quantities. It's not official and I think they are pretty rare considering it is a custom kit.

And if you're planning on selling him...I'm interested :D

Interesting :-?

I got it from BigBadToyStore a couple of years back but after I received it, I never heard anything about it. I figured it would be the start of a new line of toys or something. BigBadToyStore even removed the item from their website and they usually leave stuff on there long after they are sold out.

This sucker must be rare cuz I couldn't find any information anywhere and it wasn't on Ebay or Shoppertron. Any idea how many there are :???:

since JD productions went under (as did their site) I can't say for certain but I can guess about 500-1000 maybe. If that even.
They are pretty rare nowadays.

Hmmmm....I contacted BigBadToyStore to see if they still had the pictures in their database. I'm waiting for a reply :)

I just got my reply from BigBadToyStore. They didn't have the pics from the listing but they had this one of the item before you assemble & paint it...

I believe there's an image of an assembled HTM-01 Bumblebee on the Cyberfembot site.

http://www.cyberfembot.com/images/history/x8005.jpg

It looks pretty good, though I'm not much into overpriced limited-availability garage kits with quality-control issues. Be good for display though.

Incidentally, I suspect Hasbro may be doing a figure of the Cybertronian saucer Bumblebee from TF:Animated.

Um, are we talking ebay here? I just had a look and there doesn't seem to be anything listed as for sale under that username at the moment.
