Which Alternator's body do you guys think would have been good for Megatron?

I saw a consept of him in thread here somewere I think hasbro had a mind at one to time to make one and he was a big ol cadilac

He wasn't just a cadilac he was what is often called a pimp mobile

I'd use Grimlock. The 'stang is a big ole badboy that would suit Megs no end, that version is already silver and lhe inside leg detail painted red would just scream out G1 Megs. If you were to take a head from another alt I'd say Hound as that one already has the helmet shape to it, but there are probably other candidates amongst the various Voyagers from recent years that would do as well or better.

If you plan on making this make sure you post pictures in the kitbash forum I'd love to see this, as I'm sure many others would.

THere was a scrath bild one that was this bigass Military truk, maybe a hummer, but I don't know. I can't find it anymore.

id go with decepticharge as the legion robots from kiss players used that body as a base and had a megatron-esque apperance. Their appearance in fiction and the mold not appearing in japan yet would lead me to believe that that is the most probable alternator body for megatron we are going to see (if it does get made lets hope it doesnt include that horribly phallic tongue seen in the manga)

Yup. if TakaraTomy ever get back to putting out Kiss Players figures (which I really hope they do but it seems doubtful) I believe Legion would be first on the list. And you just know as soon as that happens Hasbro will earmark it for US release as Alt Megatron.

Its the head from g2 hero megatron/archforce also used as bludgeon in the destructicon RiD subline.

I loved that Megatron design, very cool indeed it's a shame we'll never get one.

With any luck, should a Legion be released, it would be the typical neutral face expression and not the Gene Simmons homage. I just can't see the S2000 mold hiding the tongue all that well. Though, Kiss Players is as dead as the Alts.
