Classics Rodimus? or Highscore 100?

Classics Rodimus? or Highscore 100? Should I get the classic, or should I get the movie figure? highscore is 6 bucks plus shipping and rodimus is 10 plus shipping... I have played and transformed rodimus before I like him, but I've never seen a highscore face to face...
what do you guys think?

Rodimus, dude. High Score is going to be available in every store in the known universe in a matter of weeks, I bet. Rodimus has ceased production, and, though I have Highscore myself and do like it, seems like a much better figure.

Where are you ordering from? I might consider getting Rodimus...

Its at a for sale thread, not on this site though. thanks for the help. That's what I was thinking the rodimus isn't available anymore so might as well pick him up.

Yeah, plus, better robot mode, better alt. mode, and he actually has weapons!

I wish I could find one...

depends on how you look at it. Do you like the nostalga of classics or the new edge of the movie toys?

I bet pennies to pesos that Rodimus and the rest of the original classics will be re-packaged when Classics 2.0 hit the market. Highscore will most likely warm the shelves until a sale comes about or there's a repaint into the PS2 colors (which you know will happen).

Personally, I'd say snag Rodimus, he's a great figure. High score is too, but Rodimus is just that much better.

No to be insulting here, but is this a joke? A Classic Rodimus vs. a freaking "Real Gear"? You must have very different opinions of Real Gear toys than i do, so I guess the only answer is.. follow your heart.

BTW - I'd pick the Rodimus though, if I didn't already have one.

lol, its hard for me to make decisions sometimes, I mean good reviews for the real gear, plus its cheaper, whatever, I already told the guy rodimus.

Get them both and be happy. They are both great figures.

Buy the Real Gear. If people stop buying Rodimus, hopefully Hasbro will stop making versions of the character.

You can probably afford both if you really want them, but if its got to be one go with Rodimus, he's a nice quality toy and a great homage to the original.

Even though I'm not a Rodimus/Hot Rod fan, I still bought him. And he makes my collection look nice. ^-^

In San Diego all the new wave Real Gears are available in every store.

Meh, I passed on Classics Rodimus when I spotted him because I was getting burned out of so many Rodimus toys at one time, but he's a pretty decent figure.

High Score's a brilliant figure too, and it saddens me to still see people who think Real Gears aren't worth the money. Sure, some of them are less than impressive, but all the new Real Gears are definitely worth it to purchase. As a resident Meantime whore, I'd just like to say it's probably my most played with Movie toy.

But yeah, considering availability issues, I'd go with Rodimus, and then go buy High Score and Meantime at a Target.

My local meijer mispriced the Real Gear figures, so I got them for $2.19, and I still only bought the Laserbeak homage one.

I'd agree here, but I know you really don't care for the Real gears, so I aint gonna try to persuade you otherwise.

Classics Hot Rod is a great figure, personally I think you made the right choice, and I love the Real Gear figures. High Score is a great figure for a scout class, but Hot Rod is a great figure for the Deluxe class.
