Affects the toys?

I was just wondering how the sun affects the toys. I have my new movie figures there, like g1 jazz, longarm bumblebee and arcee by my computer/window. Also, you guys know the air duster sprayers that you use to clean like your keyboard? Does that affect the toys too, if you use it to spray off the dust?
thanks

Move them away from the sun as soon as possible. They will fade.

Sunlight can weaken certain types of plastics, making them brittle and weak. White Plastic cna also be turned yellow from too much direct sunlight.
Keep transformers out of direct sunlight as best you can.

i wouldnt expect the cleaner to do anything, would it? I thought it was purely compressed air, and i dont think taht would harm the transformers..unless you got a little too close

I use the caned air to clean my transformers all the time. just use short bursts so you don't spray water on your transformers.

I keep them by the sun cus there's no other place for me to put it. I guess I gotta clear space then. I'm still wondering about the can, cus you know when you spray it the white liquid comes out, I was thinking that it would affect the paint or something. I just don't want to get my toys too dusty! lol and that dust wipe can't really get the details and little cracks.

Whilst on the topic of sun and transformers:
I keep all of mine in a room that gets ALOT of sunlight in it during the afternoon, but the sun is not shining directly on the transformers. Is this okay?

Sun's very damaging. I have a bit of a conundrum...
Classics Mirage (who is snow white...) has sat in the sun (by accident) because my curtains didn't cover the edge of the window (has been corrected though) and fortunately, he hasn't yellowed (yay!)
However...my Armada Superbase Optimus Prime (which has seen maybe two days worth of sunlight...3-4 years ago!) is yellowing on his trailer and the light activation button his leg/right super mode arm.
Bad. It literally looks like a custom fade paint job (going from one color to the next)....
I have absolutely no idea what's causing it. =\

I have two windows in my room, like side to side, and I now keep both open since its hot in CA. Back then I would keep the further on open only, I guess I should start doing it, until I start cleaning up. They've been sitting there for 3 weeks. Should I start seeing yellow?

It's not so much the light that harms the plastic in the Transformers. It is the UV-Rays. So as long as you don't keep them in a Solarium they should be pretty much fine.
