A most excellent toy. I hated Movie Jazz until I got this version. I love G1 repaint Jazz.

Heads up about ordering G1 Repaint Jazz from Target.com. I ordered him on September 9th and this is what I got in my e-mail,
1 item - delivery estimate: Oct 11, 2007 - Oct 29, 2007
Thanks Target. So it's more of a preorder. At least this teaches me patience......
Patience is over-rated.

This is hopefully an indication that Hasbro are making more of what they anticipate to be hot items. It's a pre-order at the moment. However when I purchased him end of August there were a lot ready to go. I made an order on 29th August and have received them.
I suggest those who like him waste no time at all. Other places are having him for ridiculous cut throat prices... BBTS has him for $24.99! That's import Takara price. Get it now while you can.

Really? G1 Jazz is a hot item? That's more or less all I have in my local Targets, and unlike other Deluxes, they sit on the shelves for a good week or so before people finally take pity on them and buy one.

Boy I bet that dude who paid $100 on Ebay for him a while back is just killing himself now.
These things are everywhere and easier to find than the standard regular deluxe figures.

...and sure enough, I walked into Target today to find 8 G1 Jazzes just sitting there.
I'm tempted to buy him, but if the mold is as bad as people say, I don't know if I want to waste the money for it.

Bad mold? Hmmm... I think it is pretty sweet!

I love that figure. Sure it isn't perfect (arms and hands) but it's a good stand-in until we get a Universe/Classics 2.0 Jazz next fall.
I modified mine a bit and removed the "4 Jazz" paint on the sides of the car and replaced them with ALT Meister/Jazz Reprolabels. I then did a head swap with an extra Robot Heroes Jazz that I had. He's saaaweeeett. I'll be posting pics in the kitbash forum shortly.

G1 Jazz will probably be fairly easy to find. He is a repaint of a figure that many of the children collectors will already have.
So he really is meant for the G1/older collectors and completists.
