I have question what do people see in mp starscream. I just don't get it have seen a ton of picture and even seen one in person but I just don't get the atraction. He looks like something you would see in the old gi joe line of toys maybe a little more detailed but still not that great.
I also descovered something on the mp megatron front and I wonder if any one else can confirm or despell this. That if mp megatron were not being sold by place like big bad toy store and other place that cater to kids. But unstead through collected shops like the place they sell lord of rings and higlander replicae swords they would infact not have to put the orange saftey tip on the him because of how these stores are licened.

I like him because he looks exactly like what he's supposed to be in both modes. I really don't care about the colors.

Nope. The issue isn't with the way it's being sold but with the fact that it's classified as a toy. The other places can sell replica swords and such because they are replicas. Replicas are not toys but display pieces.

I like MP Starscream firstly and foremostly becuase dispite any other complaints, he is probably the best peice of engineering ever to have come out of the Transformers brand.

I'll third that. So thats motion carried!
MP Starscream looks incredible. There are few TFs that look good displayed in alt mode, this has to be the best of all.

i would have rather his midriff been red instead of blue, but other then that i dig his darker colors. makes him look more manacing. and the way they worked out his transformation and details is just pure sex.

Which annoys the hell out of me, but Hasbro/Tycara are "toy" companies, so they may not have much around it. And if Hasbro does American versions, I'm sure they'll want to sell them through major retail stores, even if little kids make up a small percentage of those purchasing them.
Masterpiece Screamer will be tempting if Hasbro releases him in G1 colors after the movie, but I'm planning to use the movie toyline to cut down on my TF collecting. As it is, I'm starting to wish I'd gotten into something like Warhammer 40k instead - if I'd spent the same on the game as I have on TFs in the past 5 years I'd have a bad@$$ army now, and something to
do with other flesh and blood people.

I quite like SS's colours. He looks pretty good in them.
I don't see why Masterpiece figures can't be classified as collectors items, and a replica in Meg's case. He is, afterall, a faithful replica of the original Walther pistol Megs used in G1.

Count me in 5th and I love him! I think he is great. So you find him being pure sex too eh? His darker colours make him look more evil and as redimoos said, he is a feat of engenerring. To get him to look like a plane and his cartoon-comic self... just incredible.

Likewise, I got him last Xmas, and I think that he's one of my best pieces in my collection. I put him with my other Starscreams like I do with my Primes and Megatrons. Either mode I think MP-03 is a kickass piece of work!!

Yes, MP Screamer is quite kickass. He's even better in accurate colors I painted him. Plus he has these great posses you can put him to look like he's gonna kill someone. Gotta love Starscream. And Megatron. Even if he does look like a Track athelete, he's still like Grimlock, Badass!

I'm also on the Pro MP Starscream band wagon. It really is a masterpiece deserving of the title. I like the darker colors, gives it a much more realistic look.

I personally think that MP-03 Starscream and MP-01 Convoy are two of my best pieces in my collection. The American Masterpiece Prime isn't bad either, and from the pictures that I have seen, MP-05 is gonna be right up there in terms of kickass as well!!!

I also think Megs will be a welcomed addition to my MPs.

I think this topic ought to move into the Toy Forum. Any Mods around to help move this baby?

I agree on the Transformation aspect too. His transformation is truly a work of art.

MP Megatron has a red tip? Isn't the fact that he's far to big to be mistaken for a real gun more of a give away that it's just a toy than a little red tip?

Saber Prime where have you been hiding for the past 3 months?

You bring up an obvious good point, which was brought up three months ago.

I have to agree MP Starscream, despite the non anime coloring is a work of art. Perfect altmode and a great Bot mode, he is one of the best pieces in my entire collection.

Yes. MP Starscream is simply the best Transformer ever created.

MP Starscream is a work of art. I for one prefer the realistic colour scheme as it's pretty much a match for the camoflague scheme used by F-15Es. The level of detail, engineering and looks are outstanding - I never thought that such an articulated figure could come out of model 15.
