Well I final brokedown and pickup a commeritive addition soundwave through big bad toys due partly to all the positive acclaim the figure has been getting and because it sounds like the production run on the figure is finished. Also due the fact tha it seems to have only got shiped to certain states and locations. I'm really looking forward to getting him because he was one of the first two transformers I ever got for christmas. I still have him somewhere at my parents house. I know this because they held onto all our childhood toys so that we could pass them down to our children.

I don't blame ya. The week it came out in Texas, my dad was sick, and since I'm not old enough to drive yet I missed out on him. From talking to employees the next week, scalpers came in the day they were put out and bought them all. I finally broke down and bought one off Ebay for $40 with $8 shipping.

The guns were never supposed to fire so you didn't get a defective one.

hasbro has developed something against firing tiny pointed objects...so their reissues either have nonfiring guns or really ugly elongated giant missles(which may or may not fire...i've never bought them because of the appearance)

I still got that Soundwave from the gloriouse christmas twas the genisus of this everlasting hobby and way of life. That dude is still in fine shape but his gun never fiered the missle ever. Anyway if I spot him I might as well get em besides it will be cool to have a casset that points out fort max's week spots on it. Also the bulked up chest looks like the old school way of making energon cubes the way he did in the cartoon back in the day. TX out
