Yes its a possibility, there's is certainly no reason why they can't. However Skywarp and Thundercraker will never sell as well as Starscream, they just aren't as popular. Although arguably more popular than Prime repiant Ultra Magnus's Hasbro may feel like they did with MP Magnus that they wont sell well enough to justify putting them out? Only time will tell.

I don't think that's necessarily true AK,
What dont you think is true? that is a possibility? that Skywarp and Thundercraker will never sell as well as Starscream? That they may chose not to release them? How can you disagree with a guy saying maybe. maybe not?
skywarp-2 wrote:I mean Skywarp and Thundercracker are bought up routinely by collectors, they love the repaints, and if it's not popular then why would people spend the 60.00 to get the magnus/skywarp classics repaint?
Then why haven't we seem MP Ultra Magnus on the shelves at Walmart, TRU and Woolies? A main line deluxe two-pack is a far cry from a $50 supreme size collectors item. Did you know the UM/SW 2-pack went on sale in the UK due to overstocks?
skywarp-2 wrote:Why would people sell out the Botcon packs with Thundercracker and other repaints at a mortgage c-note???
Because they are crazy ass obsessive collectors, that's why! These were limited run convention exclusives, of course fans are going to go ape **** for them! Hasbro release this sort of stuff at conventions and charge the earth for them, they are over prices to start with!
skywarp-2 wrote:and if they release a Skywarp and thundercracker, I'm sure it's price point and complexity are geared towards the collector, so Hasbro would be banking on their acquisition of them and not children...
Definitely but to bank on collectors alone may not be enough, with MP Prime and Starscream (to a lesser extent) you'll get non-collectors and less obsessive TF fans recognizing the character and picking it up as a one off, this is less likely with less popular/well known characters. In addition Hasbro will have to ask themselves is there a big enough market out there who will buy a $50 repaint after they most probably bought the first? Maybe there are, maybe there isn't.
So what I'm saying is you asking a question none of us can answer, just like the string question.
