But I can't wait for it to be done with. The problems with getting enough figures out, the poorly designed figures (Dreadwing,Payload or Swindle anyone), and the tons of garbage product have me wishing it was next fall.

I know some of you guys really like the movie line, but I was looking at what is coming out in the next few months, and I had mixed emotions. Happiness that I was going to save a lot of money in the near future, but sad that there isn't going to be any cool new figures for me to transform. Anyone else feel that way?

I took what I wanted from the movie line (all the *big boy* toys that characters appeared in the film). I don't care about any of the other crap, and I don't care for made up characters that Hasbro always tries to throw in, so in a way I'm glad the movie line is *over with*, in my books. I am afraid with what they will do wtih TFM 07 movie characters in the NEXT movie toy line.. i hate it whent hey redue figs, unless they look totally different and went through a drastic change in the movie, IE Optimus gets a new paint job and a trailer.. I'd totally buy that

Now it's time for TF Animated.

Not really.

But thats just me. Not a diehard TF fan that collects a lot. MP & BT are the only toyline that really interested me, until the movie toys came. Not all of them are great, but I pick and choose the few that I like. So its still a blessing to me regardless. If nothing good comes out later, I'll just fall back on to my other bots I collect.

The movie lines had ups and downs, Alot of good figures, quite a few bad ones too. The problem is thata the movie comes out and the little kids would want the figures in the movie. So hasbro didnt predict that I guess, and was kinda behind schedule. They just didnt make enough to pass out to stores, but its catching up now. For the next movie line, they wont make that mistake anymore by underestimating how much to make. Everyopne makes mistakes, but learns from them.

All i need is '08 Bumblebee and '08 Cliffjumper and i'll be fine. But who knows? There might be an awesome off-the-wall repaint that I might just have to get.

Aww, come on. I've still got dropkick, stockade, landmine, G1 repaint voyager prime, maybe incinerator on my list, plus target scouts air raid and armorhide and real gear wire tap.
Plenty to be getting on with, really. :D

Off topic I guess, but wouldn't an Alternators Firebird or Trans Am have been cool? Saw your avatar, I've got a 2002 Formula. It'd no doubt rock if they had made one.

Back on topic, I'll only be doing the movie line. I hadn't bought a transformer since 1993 I bet, but I like the relatively true alt forms of the movie line, in most cases. Doesn't hurt there were a lot of GM vehicles for me to buy either.

I could possibly get the Armorhide repaint. Just because I like the mold and he would look good next to the Cybertron one. :D

I really enjoy the great designs of the Movie figures. ITs not really movie accurate but it evokes some of it. Enough for me to enjoy it.

The movie got me hooked to TF. I don't like the toys before the movie line, mostly because of the color schemes and the boxyness, but i kinda like the Beast Wars figures.

I own Deluxe Bonecrusher and Wreckage and am very pleased with both, but i'm not going to buy more except Longarm and maybe Dropkick. The other figures seem to have issues or are too expensive.

It would be cool if all off the movie toys finally arrived in Germany.
The newest figures here are wave 2 so the shelfes are full of Bonecrushers and Swindles which all don't sell that well. I want Longarm dammit.

Are there any photos of the movie toys Stockade and Landmine yet?

I still have a few to get before the movie line is over for me, like barricade (original). Barricade's robot mode isnt all that great but man...that alt mode..just made him a must have for me. Another reason im ok with the movie line is, frankly, im really not diggingthe designs of transformers animated, so once the movie line is over, it'll probably be just a wait for classics 2.0 figs.

anything else coming for the movie line, or is it gonna be a dry spell till the animated series? I know theres a Bumblebee repaint into Cliffjumper, but are there any others? I hope we at least get an official g1 colors Ironhide.

If its over, i'll be sad to see it go. The mass release of the figures was a great part of the summer for me. That, and i could care less about the new animated figures. At least Classics is coming back on down the line!!!!

I just need to find Dropkick then I'm pretty much done with the ones I want. None of the Allspark Power ones or the Animated ones interest me. And I'm still iffy on Megatron. Has way too many problems to fix. If I had more free time I'd be able to fix him. But it'd be nice for Prime to have his nemesis with him...

Looking forward to Classics 2.0 though.

I'm actually really sad that the movie line will be ending. It's literally one of the best that HasTakTomy has ever made. (No, I'm not kidding. I really believe that.)

I'd dare say it's my favorite line of all the TF lines past and present.

I'm gonna be really, really, really sad when it comes to end. It's going to be a suckerpunch to the gut kinda feeling. :(

Fortunately, there's still the Sector 7 Deluxes coming out and this will give me a chance to catch up on all of the Real Gear figures (once I've collected the actual movie figures) plus we have no idea yet whether or not we'll see a Voyager Bonecrusher. (I'm 99.99% sure we won't, but I wasn't expecting Leader Class Brawl either.) I could care less about leader class Starscream or Blackout though... (I'd buy 'em if they were made though.)

*sighs* I'm looking forward to Classics/Universe 2.0, but it still doesn't pack the punch that the movie line does.

I did not have fun with the movie line.
I saw TFs on the shelves twice: June 2, and June 3. THAT'S IT!
It drives me nuts to see people saying they can't wait for it to end since they have all the figures while I'm sitting here waiting for ANYTHING to be on the shelves again. Even oldstock would be a sight for sore eyes.

Landmine, EVAC, Clifjumper, Arcee, Dreadwing, Paload, Dropkick, Leader Brawl, Stockade, Thundercraker, Incenerator, RR....

Hehe, I´m loving this line.

I enjoyed the movie line. I think I made the right choice in buying leader Prime and Megs, and repainting Megs silver and gold. Now they are both worthy as epic Leader figures. I love my Ironhide, customized Ratchet, Arcee and Bumblebee. The movie line also gave me the opportunity to own a Skyblast and Energon mold Arcee. Wreckage is another shining start of my new TF collection.

People might accuse me of gushing on about this movie line because I haven't experienced other lines; but I disagree. I bought toys from the Beast Wars era, and I was well aware of the sheer size and epicness of Armada, Energon and Cybertron when they were out in stores.

Nevertheless, I love the movie aesthetic, I like most of the transformations, and I think much of what is 'cheap' plastic is simply thinner plastic thanks to the Automorph gimmicks. We also get updated versions of our favourite characters, like Bumblebee, Prime, and Megatron! If you dislike the movie aesthetic, then I can't say much, but if you like it at all, I think you'll agree with me that physically this Megatron is perhaps the most fearsome and brutal Megs ever!

Sure, Prime is not as epic as cybertron Prime, but Ironhide has 4 missiles already, not counting his non-firing ion cannon, beating out Cybertron Prime's projectile count! Starscream has 6 missiles!!! Wow!! That alone makes me consider getting Starscream.

Some figures could have been better - they didn't reach their full potential. Jazz's arms, for example. Megatron's fusion cannon. Blackout's size. etc. etc. This is one small quibble that can be very annoying to many people.

Anyhow I rate the movie line 8/10 overall, loses 2 points for QC and its inclusion of spastic designs like Swindle, Dreadwing, and Payload. Longarm looks awesome though!!!

The movie line is here for a little while longer (at least Christmas 2007), but like AK I really wish it would end sooner, bring on Animated and Classics, to make me poor again!
