Ok, So right now I have a choice between a couple of items, a Lio Convoy in box, or a Lio Convoy and Galvatron Box, or MP Skywarp, or both the Gi Joe and cobra 5 Pack, or Megatron from Galaxy Force. I can only get one this payday, so I'm wondering which one would most of you buy? I have no idea which one to get, I am really torn between getting the 5 packs from Gi Joe, and the MP, or the Lio Convoy to go with my Beast Wars rebron set.. sigh... it's a tough decision only having enough for one, but it keeps me from being broke and I still build my collection every 2 weeks. Please tell me which one you would buy and why, the good points of that particular toy should help me make my final choice. I'm out of ideas and pros and cons.

Judging by your avatar and sig, you should go with MP Skywarp.

Well... Unless you have a loose Galvatron to go with that Galvatron box... And do you mean Lio Convoy MISB, or Lio Convoy & box?

Leoconvoy looks quite nice, But I'de go for the MP Skywarp!
Cy Megatron is nice but not MP nice!

I don't know guys... I mean, yeah its a MP and all, but this is Lio Convoy we're talking about here. MISB Lio Convoy. There'll be other opportunities for MP Skywarp but how long is the timeframe for this Lio Convoy before someone else snatches him up?

Yeah and I was thinking if I get Lio Convoy and Galvatron I can always get MP Skywarp later, i already own the MP Starscream, and when the US repaint version comes out in Wal-Marts the MP Skywarp will still be available..maybe even more so..

easy...if getting it for a good price, go for the 2-pack. you see, it's the Galvatron in the Lio Convoy 2-pack that makes the price WORTH IT...for LC alone, he's really not that worth getting (yeah, you guys HEARD THAT from ME! ) unless you get him for below $40.00, trust me. Galvatron is the real sheznay here my friend, a sick triple-changer whose dragon mode is just awesome...kinda like a cross between Zoids and a one-headed Ghidorah, pure awesomeness. i'm not kidding here, this toy is SOLID and very playable.

my preference would be:
Lio Convoy/Galvatron
MP Skywarp
Lio Convoy
Joes
Megatron. i just don't like this incarnation, not one bit.

I agree with zemper, go with the 2 pack, you can always get MP Skywarp later, Lo convoy is a good buy too, but either way, go the Beast Wars route.

I'd like to spend about 120.00 but I can get the lio convoy for around 40.00 that includes shipping, the 2-pack for around 60.00 including shipping, and the MP for about 107.00

I'd say snatch up anything Beast Wars Related while you can, the polarizatin by IDW's success in their comics is only making the Beast Wars figures surge in prices and demand. The Geewuners are somewhat oblivious to the Beast Wars market, even though they are Transformers, it's almost as if they treat it as a seperate toyline, but for those of you, Like you Skywarp-2, who have embraced Beast Wars series and the Japanese stuff, your really in a good spot, keep buying Beast Wars Skywarp, there's not a ton of them to find, like the unicron trilogy toys,and the numerous G-1 related merchandise.. so your coming up to a completed collection will happen very quickly..since there are less people supportive of Beast Wars, you can get alot of figures for very little money..right now, wait and you'll be paying through the nose as more people get into the IDW series..especally over the "ga ga, ohh lala" attitude for Lio Convoy!!

Good point, and I do love Lio Convoy.. the art work for IDW just really makes you melt with envy!! and Granted RM-22 is a better version, the original voyager class sized one is what I really want!! not only that the Masterpiece Skywarp is still new, and will be around for awhile.. and with Starscream hitting US stores in G-1 colors I think most may just settle for getting that instead of the Skywarp or the MP-03..

Lio Convoy is also a boring and lanky figure whose springs are about as flimsy as Movie Starscreams missles firing mechanisms, no comparison to an MP seeker jet.

MP Skywarp is the obvious choice and clear winner. I don't even know why this thread exists.

AARRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!! See what I mean, there is this nagging feeling in my bones that if I skip Skywarp, for now and come back later like next payday, to get him, I'm gonna regret it!! I too have wants to get him...but I still say get Lio Convoy..

and like others have said, MP skywarp will still be available later, and with the 47.00 change, you can always save up to the next payday to get your Skywarp fix. but the BW line has stopped like at least 8 YEARS ago man, so there'll be no more toys coming out of this line. i say go get 'em BW figs while you still can and the prices don't skyrocket to the $100s (ala X-9 Ravage).

I'm gonna have to see...I may have to just bite the bullet and get the MP, but I do so love the Lio Convoy an Galvatron... well I bought the Big Convoy, as my first transformer when i got back into the hobby, cause I love him and he's who my screen name is based on, maybe you should buy the MP...

Even though MP Skywarp is new, the other masterpieces have shown us that they will jump in price early and often.

Try getting an MP05 today, your wallet better be thick.

I am a huge Beastwars fan, so my personal choice would be Lio/Galvatron but I bet Skywarp will surge in price more quickly.

If I were you I'd get the 2-pack. If I were me I'd get the 2-pack.
In my experience, a 2-pack will bring you the most happiness. No matter how bad the two figures are, I always enjoy the set. Even the Classics Prime/Megs pack brought me happiness, and neither figure is worth buying on its own. 2-packs are just fun.

Of course, I wouldn't mind if you didn't get it but I will let you pick first since you saw it first. But if you pick something else then I will scoop it up immediately

Lio Convoy is on BBTS for cheap. Go for Skywarp.

that Lio Convoy is the flash version, which IMHO, sucks.. who wants a clearish silver version of their favorite character, when you don't even own the original.. sorry not mad at you, just frustrated because the stupid Flash variant is all that seems to be out there...

see, that's why i say go for the 2-pack hehehe. original-color LCs are pretty rare to find nowadays, much more the LC/Galvs 2-packs for under a $100. it's pretty amusing because the Flash variant was supposed to be the more limited version, yet it is the most floated-around version in eBay and online stores, for cheap also.

but i guess it all boils to to which figure do you like most, 'warp. i'd recommend the 2-pack because i am such a huge BW fan, but if you love G1 more than you love BW, then i cannot see anything wrong with getting the MP skywarp. unless, the 2-pack is being offered on a limited-time basis or on an auction...

I can't believe the question was even posed.

Lio Convoy has held a steady price of between 25-50 dollars for the past few years.

MP anything, has only seen large incremental price increases every few months.

Pay now for Skywarp, or pay later. Simple choice.
