I was looking in th seibertron Galleries and was wondering what you guys thought of the General's toy, and others from the series. The General Grievous looks kinda cool actually..... But I'm not really too impressed by the line..

I don't like any of the Star War TF figures except the Millenium Falcon, I do have them all and just bought them as a matter of completion. I do however recommend spending the extra ten bucks to get the actual star wars vehicle. For some reason I have bought a few Star Wars ships lately and I am by no means a collector of any other thing besides robots, but Star Wars is so nostalgic that I was actually more excited about getting the Star Wars ship than a TF in a long time.

I bought a couple for my son, and they are not too bad. The Saesee Tin fighter, and the Clone Pilot one are kinda cool actually. He also got Jango and Anakin from relatives and those are really quite crappy..the Anakin especially. The Anakin mold is so overdone in the SWTF line that it makes me want to vomit
The new line coming out has 3 new molds in it that look kinda cool that I will most likely end up getting for my son...the Luke Snowspeeder, Clone Turbo-tank and the AT-AT pilot.
Have to see them in first though before I shell out the money for them.
Cheers!

I love both TFs and Star Wars, but I have no love whatsoever for these figures, even the Grievous one. The bot modes are just too bum-ugly IMO.
The AT-AT transformer in the next wave that's coming up looks like it could be cool though.

there are a few that are pretty good with Saesee Tin probably being the best of the line so far. The problem with this line is weird articulation in some of the figures, some bad sculpting and the high price for the figures. THe three new ones look interesting and I do feel that the line has gotten better since the first wave but they don't touch many of the later lines like Cybertron or Classics.

Grievous is a big disappointment. I too thought that he looked the coolest when these were first announced, but I ended up disliking him. He's back heavy with loose joints, so I had a very hard time getting him to stand without leaning. And the legs fall off at will.
I'm ambivalent toward the line as a whole, but I do like Darth Maul, the Clones(Pilot and Trooper) and Saesee Tin, and I'm looking foraward to Commander Cody. Oh, and the Jedi Star Fighter version of Vader is pretty excellent too.

The only 2 I bought where X-wing Luke, and Republic Fighter Obi wan. Both are less than solid in bot mode. quite loose, and difficult to pose. Luke just has too much X-wing kibble, and looks rather bad in my opinion.
Don't know about Grevious, but judging by the 3 or 4 still on the pegs at my local Walmart (at full price no less) i don't think anybody likes them. There are also a few Imperial shuttles\Emperor. And 1 or 2 Jango Fett's\Slave 1.
I am looking forward to Commander Cody/Tank. And of course keeping an eye open for the Vader Deathstar. Which also looks pretty good.
Otherwise the first few wave are rather crappy.

I try to think of him and my SW TF collection as little as possible lately.
At this point in time, I think I like the ARC and the Clone Trooper Transport the best.
Like Getter said, the normal vehicles are better, cooler, and more nostalgic. I too have been buying more of them lately.
