I looked all over and my persistence finally paid off! I found and purchased a very rare 1984 Tyco Transformers Train Set, that still works! One cool part about this set is that each car transforms into something, the coolest is the caboose! It's transforms into a flight shuttle!

Check out the pics!

Looks like it's in great condition.

Did you get any of those little rubber dudes with it? I've never seen any good pics of them.

I had one of those as a kid. The little generic robots that came with it were cool. Wish I still had those, they'd look great as boosters for my full set of Japanese varient Decoys.

Yeah that was cool!!! i had one, isn't there a blank Box car, which could fit an Autobot on it? I seem to remember there being one of those attached to it... :-?

Anyways, I used to pretend it was Wheeljack's mobile workshop, and when ever my Autobot's were damaged in a fight, he could use the bay for repairing them...

they should rerelease it!!

what's funny is the hawk ship is exactly like the hawk ships the birdmen from 1980s Buck Rogers piloted...

Yes it did come with the little rubber robots, their facial features are not all that recognizable. I'll try and get a closer pic of them. It also came with the cardboard cut-outs of background and buildings and the track. The only thing it didn't come with was the transformer control to run it. And it came with no instructions. Any idea what type of transformer control to run it with? :-?

I use to watch the Buck Rogers series and the Hawk does look kinda like the one on that series!

The box car doesn't seem to be able to hold anything other than the attached items that unfold from it! And there wasn't a flat-car that came with this set.

I had heard of the set, but that is the first time I have ever seen it!

Looks like one of those toys that would truly be a hoot.
