A Rare and Very Cool Transformer Figure!

I was wondering if anyone else has this particular transformer figure? I recently purchased it and was amazed by just how big it was! It is from the Japanese Beast Wars II toy line. It is a series where Autobots are called "Cybertrons" and Decepticons are called "Destrons." It's name is X-5 Tako Tank and it comes with a partner called Ikard. He has a hover cycle.
One really cool feature is you can split Tako Tank's head open into two halves. Then Ikard's cycle mounts and converts into a battle platform that shoots missles! Check out the pics!

Haha. Squidhead. That is a pretty sweet Transformer, too bad it's something i'll probably never get my hands on.

Pretty sweet, though I'm not a big fan of Transformers vehicles. *shudders at thought of Beast Machine Beast Riders*
However, another Transformer who turns into a giant Head is Megabolt Megatron, who is very cool.

Ah good ol' BWII!
Where the Maximals are all animals, led by Lio Convoy, and the Decepticons/Predacons are all machines, led by Galvatron.
Did your squid come with an instruction manual that was made from 50 tree's?

I got that on eBay in the spring for about $60. It's pretty neat, and it was one of those things that when I saw the auction I just thought it was so bizarre that I had to have it. It's pretty fun really, and I was wondering if anyone else had one, but didn't quite know how to bring it up, like telling someone you have an STD.

that's cool. I'd seen it in some group pics of the Japanese BW series, but didn't really know what it was. Hasbro should put a gold repaint of it, and pack-in Classics Hot Rod for some TFTM re-enactment goodness.

That's what the Japs call autobots and decepticons in every series

Ah the Tako Tank. That is a nice find. I think that I saw a total of one of them at Botcon this year, and it sold out quick.
And I can't believe that you guys are talking about "The Wandering Kid"(I think that is what it is called).

I haven't watched an episode of that since I was a freshman.

Hmmm...If I were more into BW I would have bought that awhile ago, but my BW are some of the first to get put away. i have a feeling that would happen to this critter, except the motorcycle part cause that is awesome!
Nice find. I'm going to stay away from it for now...
