What is the single worst gimick in transformers history

I thought I would ask because I have seen alot of different threads call alot of different gimicks bad. so I thought I would ask which is the single worst gimick of all time. The one that you as collector wouldn't buy if it was the last transformer on the shelf or if it was given to you as gift you would sell it on ebay as fast as humanly possible.

I think water-squirting is pretty poor, closely followed by colour-changing. Water-squirting is nigh-on useless indoors and I hardly ever used it.

Hmm... Not tranforming?
(Action masters ^^)

Cyber Planet Keys and Minicons being required to "unlock" hidden abilities. Surely they could just flip their missile launchers forward on their own?

Yeah in all seriousness I agree water squirting is by far the wost gimmick. I think, although a lot of fun, air pump missiles are pretty stupid too.

squirting? Yeah, that does sound pretty stupid. I'm glad I missed that one.

The key activation from Cybertron/GF, I'll have to add a vote to this one. This alone has me selling off a lot of my figures from this line. The ones that I keep will surely stay MISB.

I have a few loose figs like Excellion, Soundwave, Skywarp and a whole slew of scouts. They will be given to my nephew. I'm going to keep Armorhide though.

Just when I thought ALL seekers were cool ... along came Cybertron Skywarp/TC. BOOO!

It was present in a few early Beast Wars toys, luckily it wasnt too intrusive the figures themselves were still pretty cool. I'm suprised Movie Bumblebee didn't feature a 'lubricating' gimmick TBH, Hasbro missed a 'golden' opportuinty there!

And those figures were an improvement on the Aqua Drenchers from the Europe/Oceania G1/G2 era.

Some of them changed colour when wet. That was a fairly useless (but widespread) gimmick. At least you didnt need to put them in the freezer to change colour like some other figures of the time...

Case closed.

Thank you all for coming, punch and pie in the hall.

I never understood the Transformers water gun phase, but fortunately I think Europe got the brunt of it. Non-transforming 'transformers' and Cyberkeys rank very high. Action Masters stunk up the place. That's probably the worst idea ever.

And minicons, well, I just hate minicons.

Do we really need a "worst gimmick" thread every 2 weeks or so?

Tomorrow : your favorite movie figure
Thursday : your favorite Prime
Friday : do you want Leader Blackout
Saturday : when is US MP SS coming out
Sunday : your holy grail
Monday : favorite gimmick
Tuesday : your least favorite movie toy
Wednesday : problems with 77 BB
Thursday : worst Prime
Friday : do you want Leader SS
Saturday : is US MP SS out now?
Sunday : your holy grail
Monday : worst gimmick
Tuesday : your favorite movie figure
etc.

How will we know what day of the week it is without this rotation??

There's a thread about scalpers every 15th of the month and one about how Hasbro sucks every 30th (except in February, it's the 28th). You just need to count from there.

Here we go with this again.... :D I went to the store and was shocked that scalpers had bought up all the toys, thusly taking them out of the hands of children. That sucks, becuase I needed a second LEader PRime for my MIB collection, since I already have one open on display.

Dude, I only take concept Bumblebees out of the hands of small children. I take a video recording of the event and sell it alongside the toy. Who would want a Transformer that was not ripped from the hands of a crying child? :???:

Cool then, I thought I was the only one who delighted in ruining the life of a small child by taking toys from them. After all, these toys are ONLY ment for children, hence the fact that we have millions of posts and thousands of threads about how much we as adults like these toys. CP, we'll have to go toy-stealing together one of these days, so that we can ravage the childhoods of an entire nation.

I wouldn't be surprised if they would be in tomorrows newspaper...

Headline: Two adults raid orphanage and takes all the toys :P
