I just won G1 metroplex off Ebay and i'm just in love with this figure. I've always wanted one and to score one with almost all accessories plus a few extras (apart from Scampers right arm and a missile for the big red gun) and no yellowing for just £23 ($46) is definately worth shouting about! :D (considering that i almost bought a yellowing metroplex with no accessories at auto assembly 2006 for £15 ($30))

I was so surprised i could pose metroplex that i had to take some pics to show you guys. Enjoy

(i took these pics in my room with only the aid of a dull desk lamp and my camera phone so he does look a little off colour, but he is pure white and grey in person :) )

I've always thought he's one of the most underrated G1's out there. I have him and he's in my top 5 for G1, even above Fort max.

Yeah he is totally sweet i'm really a fan of city/base/planet formers and this guy's articulation is definately on par with the likes of soundwave etc (for G1)

I just had him in city mode and i thought "wait a minute...he can do the splits..." then thought up the kicking pose

His broad leg base also helps keep him stable, its just the lack of knee joints that really hinders doing many other poses.

About the only thing that annoys me about Metroplex is that one of his antena is teloscopic, and the other isnt. WHY?

The only practical result of this design is that my Metroplex hasnt had the removable one for as long as I've owned him... grrr.

And the only practial result of the design from my point of view is that the telescopic one won't stay entended properly and hides inside his arm in robot mode. Whoopie.

 looks like you guys got both sides of the coin there. the antenna isn't a problem for me because if you see in the first pic, i got a spare one incase it went missing. the telescopic antenna clicks into place on mine too so it doesn't fall back in.

That black part on the chest flips down? I didn't know that! I'll have to try that when I get home.

Dang, I need to get the rest of the accessories for my Metroplex(all I have is a red gun). Eh, I can wait, he still looks cool on the shelf.

I find it extremely funny that Metroplex's weak point in series 3 was his transformation cog, a single cog that could prevent his entire transformation if removed/damaged. And the toy has a single cog type thing on his waist that will split him in two (effectivly stopping his transformation if broken). Like my brother's Metroplex. Fortunatly, it was fixed using some elastic bands and some great inginuity. Now Metroplex can look at his toes.

Still, never thought Metroplex could get poses like that. Good posing.

I love G1 Metroplex. I have had this toy since it came out. It is still in great shape minus the fact that I am missing his left hand.
