There are as many opinions of the Titanium figures as there are stars in the sky. I like all of them really, save the first two (WWI Prime and 'GI Joe Megatron'), but most people will kill your buzz by talking about how much they hate them. You be the judge! (Hint: choose liking them!)

I like mine. The top deck of the alt mode doesn't connect up properly on any of them, but he'll probably in bot mode most of the time anyway, right? I did a couple of mods to mine to get it the way I wanted. As he comes the legs bend forwards rather than backwards at the knees. To sort that one out just take a precision screwdriver, remove the screws from inside the thighs, swap the thighs left for right, reassemble and you're done. The other one is more for personal tastes and asthetics. From the box you'll find that his shoulder launchers only attatch 'upside down'. To correct this just pop out the ball joints at the shoulders and elbows, swap the shoulder pieces left to right and reassemble. The faction symbols will now be facing the rear of the robot mode and be visable in vehicle mode where they were'nt previously and the launchers will now attatch 'right way up'.

He's the best version of Ultra magnus yet (not that that's difficult).

That really sucks,oh well, was going to wait for my local Target to get him in, but I think i missed him, thought they get the figures in waves.. 2 Weeks ago they had WW Ultra Magnus and Sunstorm.. Bought them both, last week I thought for sure that they would have WW Megatron and G1 Ultra Magnus, they didnt. They had the Crappy Optimal Optimus, Scourage which I already have and Thundercracker, and like always the Shelf-warmer WW Starscream..weird shipment. Are all target similar in their shipments? I always go in Thurday morning when they first open up and they always have their shipment of Titaniums..

I got him too. His trailer won't connect, his wheels don't roll & his face looks retarded. I only place him inside decoration cupborad for display only.

Don't listen to him. He's great, probably my favorite 6Ti figure. Very solid in both modes and very true to its G1 counterpart. And the wheels do roll... at least on mine.

Exactly what I was going to say. I think this is a great figure, obviously there are some QC issues and the Alt-mode isn't too great, but really that isn't what Titamium is about. It's about show accurate robot modes and UM certainly has that going for him, if only the blue was darker.

I preordered him for about $18 off of BBTS like... 5 months ago? At least... anyways, got him a few weeks after the preorder and was very impressed. CONSIDERING ONLY THE TITANIUM LINE TO WHICH HE IS A PART OF, he's very nice. 'Bot mode looks better than the G1, which is nice.

When I first took him out, I was a little dissapointed (but getting him for cheap, I wasn't gonan complain.) He is the only titanium I have so I can't compare to the rest of the line, but once you do Waaaaaghlord's mods to his arms and legs, he becomes alot better.
I only got him because he was a G1 Magnus, not a white Prime.

Yeah, since like, RID, we are finally seeing an Ultra Magnus that's not Prime's repaint B****. That, and he's a G! Magnus. Which it makes it so much sweeter. He looks awesome as a bot, but when you put him in truck mode... o.0
For one, mine needed some filing work on the pegs to even get his lower legs to combine into the trailer. For two, his arms don't connect to the back part of the trailer. For three, there is nowhere reasonable to put his gun in car mode... For four, the weight displacement caused by the die-cast becomes apparent in truck mode as he takes on an upside U shape if you just pick him up by the back end. There's no real point where the white truck in car mode snaps onto anything. Me thinkz this is the biggest problem as to why his wheels don't roll...
If you're a MISB collector, then this one needs consideration for the MISB bookshelf.

The wheels on mine roll easily. He is a nice looking guy for MISB collectors.

I would not say that either Rodimus Prime or Ultra Magnus have show-accurate bot modes from any angle than from the front. UM has a pretty hefty backpack. RP has a gaping hole in his sides, so large you'd think someone took a shovel to remove his innards. Head-on in bot mode, the Titaniums look astounding. In alt mode, a couple of them look good (Rodimus, RID Optimus Prime). But beyond that, they're view-from-the front bots. I want to like the Titaniums SO MUCH that I keep buying them in the hopes that I'll really like one. Die cast metal is awesome and I want to support it, I just hope that next time, they get it right.

....and remember the cab IS detachable from the trailer.
Might be obvious to some but I remember there were some people that did not know about that fact.
