Below is a response that HASBRO sent me in a gripe I had about not being able to find certain TF Movie figures at local stores. Most importantly though, HASBRO has confirmed in the response that there will be no more production of the ALTERNATORS line. Read below:

Hi Steven,

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. We appreciate your interest in our company and products!

Please be assured the Transformer Movei figures are currently in production and shipping to stores. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee product availability at any one store.

Please continue to check http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com for availability as it is updated on a daily basis.

All current Hasbro products are also carried by Toys R Us (http://www.toysrus.com), Wal-Mart (http://www.wal-mart.com), Kmart (http://www.kmart.com), Target (http://www.target.com), Kay-Bee (http://www.kbtoys.com), as well as other toy and mass merchandise retailers.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee product availability at any one store.

Also, there are no plans at this time to reproduce Transformers Alternators.
We will share your interest with the appropriate personnel.

Again, thank you for your interest.

Love how they said it twice:

Ok, that's cool I guesss, but I wish "new" meant a leader blackout product and not "new" meaning more Concept BB on store shelves...

If it means they'll get more of the earlier waves on shelves here then I'll be happy.

I figured they'd tell me that more were coming and all that, but the end of the Alternators line is whats killing me. I really liked that line and now its over.

Well, just be glad it's ONLY the Alternators line and not the Classics line as well. Classics was a sweet line as well, and with more figures at affordable prices...

Yeah, i guess. i like the classics line alot, but the ALTERNATORS were just the ultimate of cool. I only have 2 and a half (Half is a busted up Mirage my stepson destroyed but I refuse to let him go) and have a LOOOOOONG way to go getting them all. Now I know it will cost me about triple the original cost to do so.

I didnt have the money when they came out, I sure am gonna have a hard time getting them now.
