Eye of the storm

Not eye of the tiger!

Seems like Transformers is in a little bit of a funk. The boards are slow, not much coming out. Classics is done for most people, and titanium trickles out so slowly and even then most figures aren't all that great. I myself don't have much interest since I own everything I want (or at least can afford) and I'm having fun just focusing on all my great stuff.

Still I just know in like 3 months Transformers will be plastered EVERYWHERE, and it'll be hard to keep up with all the product they'll be releasing (that is if you're interested in movie stuff). But I can't help but feel really bored right now.

I wish hasbro would just drop us a line and say for a fact that they'll continue classics after the movie, at least then I'll have something to really look forward to.

I know what you mean. I've been awake all night and morning watching a G1 Frenzy for my dad, and every five minutes seems like an hour. I can't go to sleep because I have to bid on it. The news is so slow and boring. There's nothing I want to go hunt for in the stores. There's nothing to do on my custom Classics Thundercracker because I messed up on an arm and I can't knock out the pin in the spare. All of my new Transformers are coming in the mail in a slow trickle. My bots in HMW take sooooo long to heal in the CR Chamber. Even staring at the hot chicks for that RPG ad from Google at the side of the page doesn't thrill me like before. Now, they look so...bland. All I can do is watch my sister's cat sleep and lick herself.

*yawn*

it's been slow. Not so much the eye of the storm, but the calm before the storm.

I'm gonna stick with eye. We got dumped with a bunch of great stuff like classics, new masterpiece, the end of cybertron, titanium, etc... then nothing. Then in summer it's going to start up again with a new movie and movie line, then transition pretty quickly into a new cartoon and probable toy line.

Slow?

Dead.

Converstation here has been very light, even when it comes to Transformers. Decent threads slide off to obscurity now without comment from hardly anyone and even GD had dried up to the point that I've seen periods of and hour or more without a new post at all.

But the site traffic has gone up? I guess people are coming for the features and not the discussion.

since the dataloss, it does seem to be slow. But that seems to be across the various boards in general.

With the relative lull in new TF dispersal, you'd think that I'd be able to save up some extra money for the onslaught of movie toy madness, but alas, no. I've just started looking for more G1s and exclusives and stuff on line.
