I need some opinions from my fellow Seibertronians out there.

I am focusing on bolstering my G2 figures in my collection since I have Laser Prime, some Cyberjets, some Autobot cars & some Decepticon planes. I want to get the big G2 Megatron to go toe to toe with my Laser Prime. Everytime I bid on one MISB I am sorely outclassed by other bidders with more money than me. So I was considering the Korean release that pops up on ebay every now and then.

Any thoughts? The auctions I've looked at in the past are from the same seller. The auctions claim it is actual Takara product just released in Korea. Are those releases any good quality wise? Has Takara released real TF product in Korea in the past? Anyone with any ideas, opinions or thoughts are welcome to reply. It would help me greatly in making my decision. Thanks!

I have quite a few Korean TF's. Tak just had some factories over produce stuff. It's the same quality.

I don't have the characters that you are referring to, but I think that they'd be fine.

I have Megastorm, the mold I think you're talking about, the Korean release of Galvatron's "little" brother from Beast Wars the Second. The same mold as the large green tank G2 Megatron.

It's a fine toy, main difference is that the electronics are removed.

Thanks for everyone's input. I went ahead and purchased from a buy it now auction. Yes, it is the Korean Takara release of Megastorm, the same mold and colors as G2 Megs. I'm not really concerned about the electronics so lack there of suits me just fine.

I'm looking forward to building up my G2 collection provided other bidders on ebay aren't too rich for my blood.

Only Korean TF I have is the Car Robots Maximus. Kicks arse.
