If its an outstanding vote that we're all in love with it we are going to have some serious problems snagging one when it hits the shelves are we not?? If any of you are wondering how he will look heres the pics to refresh your memory! http://cgi.ebay.com/transformers-mp-3-s ... dZViewItem
P.s. How did he get that?? In July nonetheless?? :???:

The seller's based in China. The factory is based in China. You can pretty much get the rest of the picture here.

That's how a lot of items get an early bird release on eBay.

Are we comparing him to the Takara version, or just commenting on the figure in general?

If the former, it's a vast improvement. I have no idea why Takara decided to go with that colour scheme for Starscream, but I suspect a lot of crack was involved.

If the latter... not that interested, tbh. The more photos I see of it any version of that mold, the more the proportions look wrong and the worse the kibble looks. Not something I'll buy at full price.

Decided it was time for something a little more TF-relevant. :D

I don't like the skid marks all over the jet. I still prefer Takara's original version. I never really cared for the now outdated G1 deco.

I'm a little more tempted in these colours and nice classics packaging, but never liked the mould so will be letting it pass.

I like Hasbros MP Screamer but I have a feeling Takara's USA edition will have a slightly better deco. I hear Takaras version will probably be more gray than white and have less weathering. I'm also hoping the Takara version is more a repaint of MP Skywarp them MP Screamer. Reason being I prefer the more show accurate silver face and orange canopy of MP Skywarp.

It's beauuuuuuuuuuutiful. I'm gettin 2.

I guess the color scheme is a little outdated and cartoonish, but that's what he was when I was in love with the original cartoon. Works for me!

he's pretty awesome looking. Seller really needs to learn to resize a pic though.

I need another "big" decepticon...with GF OP, DVD OP, Leader OP, and Cybertron Metroplex dominating my collection, Leader Megatron is definitely outnumbered.

will the takara version be coming out at the same time? also will the packaging be different? the classics packaging is pretty crappy in my opinion.

You mean the Takara US-colored repaint? I think it's coming out sometime later, though not all that much later.

I only hate that it is a WM Exclusive. If it were up to me, there would be no more of those. Why? Because WalMart sucks, and their Exclusives are impossible to find around here.

Until I see better pics of the Takara version I'll hold off on saying which I will buy. The Hasbro one is nice but I've never been a fan of battle damage. It must stem from when I was a kid and got my battle damaged X-Wing, thing looked like it came from a garage sale :P

I'm not going to get it. Though if I had the opportunity to get it very cheap I may do. On the deco however, I think they should lose the blue, especially on the hands. All the Seekers look like they're wearing bright rubber gloves and it's a major turn off point for me. I think Starscream would look much better in just white and red. A lot more regal, rather than geeky.

I've never liked weather damage either...just makes the figure look dirty. I know that's the point, but I like my figures to look like I actually take care of them and not throw them around in the mud. I'll still get the figure because I think it's an awesome mold, but I'm not too keen on the dirty weather effects.

PS
Awesome Skywarp collection Tekka. I personally have a Starscream collection (which is why I'm actually getting the MP SS).

The battle damage paint can be removed quite easily. A little rubbing alcohol, a pink school eraser, etc. A guy on TFans did it to his 20th. Anniversary Optimus, replaced the smokestacks, and now you can't even tell the difference between his and the Masterpiece Convoy.

When I find the link (in which he explains it) I'll post it here for you.

Isn't this coming out on Nov. I'd get it for collection wise, but really I like Takara's MP version better. I wonder what MP 07 will be?? ;)^
