Helmet is fun, and any Blasting gun that actually fires cannot be bad (except for the price).
The rest however is more than a little bit of a stretch. I honestly believe that Hasbro is using the T.E.C.H line to compete against the Spygear line, and dragging down all the good things the Cybertron and Classics lines did with the Transformers branding...

All the extras just remind me of all the toys released with every sci-fi movie ever. Real gears are nice since they're actually transformers, and I might get a FAB sometime, or a plush Optimus. Everything else reeks.

Real Gears are must buys if you like Transformers that turn into actual realistic objects.
They are some of the better designed figures in recent memory.
Softimus Prime and Slumblebee are worth every penny spent on them.
FAB Frenzy is win, and FAB Megatron and Jazz are better because their cost per suckiness is lower. FAB Blackout is actually better than the Voyager version.

I agree with you on that, but haven't you guys seen those prime heads that split in half and then its like a little computer thingy?

yeah, those were hard to pass up
i can't help but think how many deluxes and voyagers could have been made with the plastic wasted on some of this crap

Yes.
Those and the Beamers were Target exclusives here, and they hog every inch of the Allocated Transformers shelf space, and I doubt that we will get restocks of figures until some of that crap is bought.

Those are so dumb! Like they're target exclusives here too, but the little kids enjoy it, cus when they're no transformers on the shelves, they like push on it and push on it until the lights and sounds go off!

I am in Germany ATM, and I had, HAD, the luxury of not seeing any of that extra stuff. I originally saw the figures themselves. I assumed it was going to be the same pattern as always; figures only. I was soooo dissapointed with Hasbro when I saw the initial waves of crap. Computers, Keychains, pencil boxes, bed sheets, candy, etc. I see so much cash-in, bandwagon stuff, it upsets me.

There are too many Tech Gears and stuff and Hasbro does not know what the real point that is selling. The Deluxes and Voyagers mainly. Too bad they have more Tech Gears
