I've just had my titanium 6" soundwave delivered, and he's nowhere near as good as my ultra magnus. One of his feet won't go all the way back, and one leg' so loose he won't stand. are they all like this or should I send mine back?
Cheers

I traded my Titanium Soundwave away a long time ago for a Classics Megs. I never liked it from the get-go.
Poopy diaper aside, it has many major quality issues.
Standing up in robot mode is a complete and utter impossibility for any Titanium Soundwave that I've ever seen.
If you send it back, get a different figure altogether because the new Titanium Soundwave you get in return may be even worse than the one you already have.
I got a Classics Megatron for mine and I like it about a thousand times better than Titanium Soundwave.
Thats my opinion anyway.

Are the rest of the titaniums like this, or are they of the UM quality? He's great, that's what made me get Soundwave.

It varies really.
G1 Ultra Magnus, G1 Scourge, Rodimus, & War Within Thundercracker are my favorites in the Titanium line.

QFT
War Within Megatron is also a nice figure who doesn't suffer from "limpness".

Fallen may be based off the wrong character model, but he's a prety sturdy guy. Wish his knees bent further back though (why didn't they allow for that? It's not like it woulda compromised structural integrety.)

As cool as having a mostly diecast transforming G1 soundwave would be, I just cant bring myself to getting one. I just really dont like the proportions. I think that the new MP3 soundwave will fill that gap nicely tho.

Just get the TRU Soundwave. He's got a pretty good level of die-cast in, and looks spectacular in both modes.
I quite like tit Soundwave. I'll just have to see if I can't fix some of his problems with a little ODB magic.

I returned mine to Argos. Does that count as "ODB magic?"

Hey, we all have different brands baby

I'm gonna take him apart, find the problem, and fix it.
He will be splendid by the time I'm finished with him.
And if he isn't, I'll just cut him up and turn him into Classics Deluxe Soundwave

Which UM? WW or G1? The G1 UM Titanium is really awful, I can't imagine soundwave being WORSE.

I didn’t buy any titanium figures until three weeks ago. There was a shortage in movie figures so I started buying some titanium figures to ease my addiction. I bought the War within Megatron, Ultra Magnus, Fallen, Starscream, Sandstorm, Scourge, and Rodimus Prime. All of these figures are nice except my War Within Ultra Magnus is a bit loose and I can’t stand the rubber canons on Fallen, other then that the $15 plus tax was worth it.

Mine's G1. It's perfect, so not sure what's going off with yours.....

I always keep Soundwave toys that transform into radios since there is only like 3 of them. I don't think TS Soundwave is that bad I just don't like that big thing his legs are connected to.

It's the alt mode. It's totally pants.
I should note that I got two Titaniums over the weekend that have instantly transformed my disgust for the line to despair for what others could have been. G1 Scourge and WWI Thundercracker are both totally awesome figs. The best I have. Roddy is pretty nice (and so will be Menasor when he arrives since it's the same mold). This makes me dissappointed I didn't buy WWI Starscream when I saw him, because Thundercracker is so great. Scourge has a totally simple transformation but he looks fantastic (kinda a shellformer, but you'll have that...)

Yup. I've seen Titanium Soundwave. Even without touching him, i can already see the glaring poor quality.
I'm on a constant look out for a suitable Soundwave i shove into my Classics line collection. (G1 reissue just won't cut it.)
When i saw Titanium Soundwave, I didn't even have to think. It's a no-brainer. Leave him.

Yeah. I don't like the big diapers! Makes him look like a mean baby.

Don't care for Titanium Soundwave, regardless the quality. He just don't look very good. But I really want the Laserbeak it comes with, to match my upcoming MP3 Soundwave.
Anyone wants to sell me the birdie?

I guess the Soundwave you should be looking for is MP3 Soundwave Auto Bot
