Megatroptimus has posted a review of the new Transformers Animated Starscream figure over at
Cybertron.ca. The review gives us detailed insight on the mold, poseability and transformation sequence along with some photos of the toy.

Plane mode looks pretty good, robot mode not so much. It kind of reminds me a little of Armada Starscream.

I know right? On what legal basis does he have against linking from one forum to another forum? we're not stealing pics and all links are credited to that website and author... nobody's stealing anything, and all credit is given where it's due...

There is no basis for legal action. I was quite amused by that myself.
Starscream certainly does look like Thundercracker however. It's all a bit odd.
Ah well, give me a black version with purple trim and no lipstick, and I will be happy.

i'm pretty excited from these pics. they paint might not be final but still not bad. his hands look awesome. not some random claw. the fingers look posable. yay!

They have no legal protection. Like they would spend money to try to take legal action anyway. Sounds like a temper tantrum with some empty threats mixed in.

Looking at it closer, he does seem good to pose. Honestly he doesn't look all that bad despite the cartoony head design. I'd give this mold a thumbs up.

I don't get why the wings point the wrong way when in plane mode. Overall it looks ok - but I don't think I'll be getting it in a mad rush when it's released.
