It not that I have given up collecting transformers or anything heck I'm waiting on god ginara. But as far as finding movie figures yeah I have given up if stumble across 08 bubblebee or a deluxe arcee I will get them but I don't really think I will find them. The other day at my local target they had two leader class brawls I took a look at them and was not excited I guess it is the main cannon stick out from his side. But oh well I hope that things pick up steam as far transformers go heading into next yr and I hope that they really don't continue the movie line into next summer. I hope the movie line ends in january like they had orginal planed and they just go with animated series. I know alot of people are turned off by them but at least when oct. rolls around and the classics 2.0/universe line hit shelves people will have saved enough money to make this line a hit and possible prove to hasbro that they should take some of those protype titianium figures and create them for the new line.
I would really love hear what you guys think about all this.

Wow, paragraphs are your friend.
That said, I'm pretty much done with Movie Deluxes since I've got all the figures I've wanted, and I'm more or less finished with the Voyagers as well.
Bring on MP Starscream and Classics 2.0!

Do not give up. The holiday season is almost upon us and stores are beginning to see big shipments of TFs... I've seen more TFs in the last week at TRU, WM, and Target than I have since July...

I have been looking for a Barricade in stores. But all I can find are Ratchet and Ironhide.
Endless endless rows of Ratchet and Ironhide.
Would be easier just to buy online of course, but I'd like to see it in person first.

I haven't given up as much as I have had my focus elsewhere because of the movie line shortage.
I've been focusing on ebay and bolstering my G2 collection. My Laser Prime reissue looked so lonely being my only G2 TF so I figured with the movie figure shortage why not work on growing my G2 collection.
However I do want the movie Thundercracker and Rescue Ratchet before the rest of the line comes out. I have yet to see those 2 figures in the Pacific Northwest though.

i have him preordered through bbts.com just in case.
my goal is to find the figure (which i've done with several: thundercracker, cc bb, etc..) before the preorder comes through, because with these movie toys, they have jacked their price up considerably. but if i can't find it, i still have one comming in the mail sometime.

Dropkick is by far the biggest shelfwarmer here in Houston Walmarts... sometimes I feel like Walmart is shipping too much of one model to certain areas... Walmarts here have hardly gotten any wave 1 Barricades since July, but plenty of Dropkicks, Longarms, Dreadwings, and Swindles...

A plane ticket to Houston can be too costly. What do you think?

If you reaaaaaally want one... then I suppose I could get one for ya at cost plus tax... plus shipping costs... if I were you I'd wait and see how your local Walmarts pan out with the incoming holiday shipments though... PM me if you are still interested...

I'm quite far. Shipping is gonna cost. Thanks for the suggestion.
But still... maybe.. it could work. How much would be the cost of with tax?

Houston, Texas sales tax is 8.25%... so after tax it comes out to about $11... shipping varies on the shipping service of course...
Are you in the USA? If not, I'm kinda lazy if it involves more putting it in a box and slapping postage on it...

Hmm.. very good. But i don't have any idea yet on shipping cost to California. Also, i wouldn't know how to pay you.

Like the fella who’s been focusing on G2, I’ve been looking at BW II and Neo stuff. So about giving up, yeah, though I've seen more and more of the toys hit the shelves around here lately. I picked up Starscream and a two pack of Scorponok and the Helicopter before the movie came out. But I've just not been a fan of the designs. The lack of characterization in the film didn't help either. I'm kind of grateful for the drought. If not for it I probably would have spent a lot of money on toys just for the sake of completion. Thankfully scalpers have stepped in and replaced my own lack of self control with their discouraging greed.

Thanks, man.

I really appreciate your intention.
