How much are these worth?

Image

I've all ready checked out the articles at TF-1.

I've looked all over. I can't find any pricetag to these.

I mean can these figures as a set REALLY be worth $400???????? No right!?
I really want the bumblebees and that's it.

don't make me do it

I'd rather have the Brawn...

My wife bought some of the Mexican minibots at Botcon and they were $3 a piece. Orange Cliffjumper, green Cliffjumper, and maybe a white Bumblebee.

I'm not sure what their actual worth is, but these were Mint with packages, and they had belonged to the Hartman's so I assume they were the real deal... and priced accordingly.

Those must be super rare up there.

I really like those repaints. I especially like Brawn and Huffer. Windcharger doesn't look bad either. I have seen the white and blue Bunmblebees before but never knew the rest of these existed.

I've got plenty of Bumblebee/Cliffjumpers but I really would like to get a hold of one of those show acurate head Bumblebees in the Takara Minibots set but I can't justify spending that amount of money on them. Besides, how many Cosmos do I really need?

So $400 would just be like driving over your own leg.

$400 is a little steep for me just for minibots, however if they are what you want and you have the cash, go for it. I'm sure we all have figures that we would be willing to pay more than most people would consider. There are just some figures that mean more to me than others. I'd be more tempted to spend in the $400 range for e-hobby Ghost Starscream but other people would find that outrageous. It's all a matter of taste and which figures you like.

repeatedly...with a semi...on a train.

but thats just my opinion. I'm willing to pay rediculous prices for a lot of stuff...but for me that just wouldnt be one of them.

Actually $100 isn't as bad. It's still more than I would pay but to put things into perspective, the Takara Minibots Re-issue has been going for $70-$100 dollars at most places that actually have them in stock. With that you get BumbleBee, Huffer, Gears, PowerGlide, Cosmos, and WarPath. The big draw with the Takara set is that you get the cartoon face Bumblebee. With the set you are looking at, they are relatively unique and have nice paint jobs and I dare say there are fewer of them out there.

It all boils down to at the end of the day, do you feel comfortable spending that much money on them. That's usually how I justify my larger cost purchases on figures I want.
