Why does Ironhide need a Leader Class toy? His Voyager Class figures is plenty good enough.

I'd also say that he does not warrant a Leader toy due to his little characterisation and part in the movie, but that goes doubly for Brawl yet he got a figure.

The best part is realistically we are not going to get anymore leader class figures from the movie line!! Thank heavens for that!

Uh, because he is smaller than Ratchet when he should be bigger, maybe? And he'd look even cooler.

Brawl didn't warrant a Leader toy, yet he got super-sized. Brawl had far less characterization than Ironhide in the movie. Heck, Brawl never moaned a word. On top of that, we now have 2 Leader sized Decepticons, and only 1 Leader sized Autobot that is directly from the movie. Nightwatch Prime doesn't count.

The best part is realistically we are not going to get anymore leader class figures from the movie line!! Thank heavens for that!

Why? I rather liked the Leader class, and Ironhide would have been sweet as one. Instead of 4 launching missies, they could probably squeeze in 6 o 8 per arm. And make his headlights flash and whatnot. I'd get one for sure, and I don't throw around $40 for a toy unless it rocks.

No. Voyager Ironhide is already in scale with Leader Prime.

Voyager Ironhide is by far 1 of the most striking in scale autobot figures out there. Change ANY of his current mojo may temper his shine. In fact, Cybertron Quickmix's scale deserves at least Ultra class way back when... movie Ironhide, not even close.

I know this means squat to hasbro, but this would be my #1 request.

Voyager Ironhide - he's so awesome that he'd most likely hold up to the leader class well enough. Of course the leader version would be superior, but they would both have pros and cons I'm sure. I use different words, but have pretty much agree with silver galvatron on this one.

The only chance we had at seeing a Leader IH, was if the only IH of the movie line was a deluxe instead of Voyager.

Even though I want it badly, they'd be smart to leave well enough alone.

If we're not getting anymore leader figures, then I'm annoyed that they chose Brawl who was pretty boring. Ironhide, Bonecrusher, Starscream, any of them would have been a more interesting choice then Brawl.

As far as personalities go, Brawl was pretty boring. As for the Leader figure ... not boring at all. If this is what you mean, would you like him to have ANOTHER gun or something? How many does it take to please you? :P

No I didn't mean boring because of any lack of guns. I'm saying boring because,...well lets see:

IronHide had some cool lines and moments:
"feeling lucky punk? What? Just showing the kid my guns."
"We could take out the parents, it's an option."
"He sprayed lubricants on my foot"
"BADMOJO!"
"It's StarScream! Take cover, go, go!"

Plus he went flipping and blasting end over end in slo-mo blasting into the ground. Way frigging cool.

Then BoneCrusher:

Granted no dialogue other then, "I HATE YOOOOWWWW!" But he still grabbed and flipped a bunch of cars, had a rolling in motion transformation, smashed through a bus then tackled Prime while on fire. Who else would have the balls to tackle Prime? Definetely not Barricade or StarScream I'm sure.

So I feel those 2 characters were much more interesting, especially IronHide, he's really become my favorite part of the movie and imo had all the best lines/moments.

Compared to Brawl who uhm,....rolled up, fired his cannon a couple times, then got owned by Jazz and Ratchet before getting shot in the face by Bumblebee. So yeah, I think he was kind of boring. Kind of,....cannon fodder? Lol.

I'd much rather have a Leader class IronHide then Brawl. I've got Leader Brawl and I think he's "just ok."

Much rather have a Leader IronHide.

Tanks probably sell better then GMC pick ups, air vehicles and odd military vehicles that kids don't really see often.

Tank > All (minus leader prime)

I agree.

Tanks are bad ass.

I guess I'm the minority, I find tanks kind of boring. It's a box with a long tube on top. (:|

like others have said it would throw off the scale. Voyager hide is to scale with most of his movie counterparts. He's smaller than starcream why make a GMC topkick bigger than an F-22 raptor?! :???: Ironhide is fine as he his, if hasbro is looken for a leaderclass to make either blackout, screamer, or bonecrusher would be great

Leader Class Ironhide? I'm still trying to figure out why they made Brawl that class.

I'm not talking about scale, to me that's a non issue. The scales of all the TF's are F'ed up to begin with. One of the things I always see being bitched about on this site is that Hasbro has no sense of scale and this toy doesn't match that toy and blah-blah-blah.

All I'm looking at is the difference between the Voyager classes and the Leader classes. The Leader classes are always awesome and alot more detailed, better transformations, etc.

So to me in terms of a bad ass toy, I think a Leader class IronHide would be a badass toy.

Now granted if I had the choice of any of the movie toys being Leader class I'd have to say more then anything I'd absolutely LOVE to have a Leader Blackout that's huge in helicopter mode and equally ginormous in bot mode. And have his rotor blades lay down his back the way they did in the movie. That would be the ****!

But just in terms of Brawl vs IronHide, I'd have chosen IronHide. But I see why people think a tank is cooler then a truck. Though I think IronHide is the cooler looking of the two bots.

Anyway it'll probably never happen so,....

All the Autobots are in pretty much good scale. (Except for Arcee)

So it won't merit doing a Leader Ironhide.

However, scale issue aside, there's still much room for improvement for Ironhide.

What we can ask for instead, is a Masterpiece Ironhide. That should do him justice.

But the possibility of that will be years down the road.

Keep your fingers crossed. And you'll be having 2 bloated soar fingers thru all those coming years.

I've never cared about scale, never will, and Ironhide is the cool guy with the big guns. I mean, has any other transformer did a flip as cool as Ironhide's?
And, if your worried about scale, why aren't you complaining about Ultimate Bumblebee :???:?

exactly, that's why a Leader figure would be awesome.

I see a truck a motorcycle and an airplane in my collection that are totally out of scale with each other. Yet they're cool.

Cool wins everytime.

Let's just get it over with and demand leader class for all characters to make everyone happy, and if they say no we can stop with these fantasy threads.

If they wanted to make leader class ironhide, or masterpiece brawl, or supreme wheelie, then they would have.

because he's not the main bb. I just leader ironhide is a bad idea. Use it on bones money better spent

Ironhide is the last to need a Leader resize.
Hes perfect as he is now, would you want a GMC to be the size of a Semi? :P

If anyone need a leader resize, its Bonecrusher and Blackout.

Those GMC Topkick's are very large. Not as large as a Peterbuilt, but it's up there.

As much as I would love to see a Leader class SS or BO, we really need to balance out the Leader figures. We got Brawl, which was less of a reason to have HIM as Leader size than anyone else in the entire movie line. And, with Jazz up in Autobot Heaven, it seems that now Ironhide is Prime's new second in command.

IH would rock with big rubber tires, more missiles, even more interesting automorph, and his own lights and sounds.

If not, they can't do much worse than Voyager Blackout.

He is the TF with the most potential IMHO. Bonecrusher would be awesome, but really ... it doesn't get much better than a helicopter on scale with leader prime. Which they wouldn't do, but the though of it is good enough for me to dream up a mental image ... of Blackout and I running toward each other on a sunny beach with arms wide open.

Hopefully his rotors have stopped spinning by the time we met up.

With that said. Leader IH FTW!!!
