Think they're going to hold them til DVD release day? or will they put them out as soon as they get them? that would suck if I walk in on Tuesday the 16th to get a DVD and they are already out of the BB exclusives...

Holy Metal Finish! Is Ratchet gonna be painted all over with metallic colors?

Not bad. But not too much of a difference from the original Ratchet.

What really strikes me is Megatron! Why Voyager Megatron? Should have done the treatment to Leader Megatron.

I don't have a Ratchet yet...

So now I have a tough decision: Rescue Ratchet or BBuy Ratchet....

ARG!

Fixed. :P

They probably didn't do leader Megs, because he would be too expensive for most people to buy with a $20 DVD.

Besides, Voyager Megs isn't that bad, and he looks awesome with the new metal finish. I might have to get another one. :-?

Megs still looks like a feathered birdman with that ice... but he is a drastic improvement over bluebird Megatron...at least the ice looks like ice now...

Why the frickin ice?!?!?! Argh.

I'll stick to my Leader Megs... but that Voyager Metallic Ratchet has my name on it...

I have movie Ratchet. I've passed up 4 rescue Ratchets and the redeco reminds me of Red Alert more each time. Best Buy's exclusive does do some justice, but the Ratchet in da movie wasn't blinging metallic as a rescue vehicle. In anycase, 'pimp my Ratchet' over rescue Ratchet.

Movie Ratchet still RULEs, indeed.

I kept passing on Ratchet because I felt the colours didn't represent the movie model well enough.

The Best-Buy exclusive sure changes that, he's a must-have for sure! I'll pay whatever they want for it!

I have a feeling the plain plastic colors Ratchet may exude more beauty than the metallic colors Ratchet.

For one thing, the plastic is relatively shiny, but not too shiny. Giving it a very realistic feel.

From my own experience, small toy cars ought not to be too shiny, or they'll have that matchbox look. The smaller it gets, the flatter should be the paint.

Ratchet (and other Movie Autobots) scale lays on the borderline between small toy car and big toy car. So it's just right that he be given a semi-shine finish of the plastic.

Unlike Alternators, which belongs to the bigger toy cars category, a shiny metallic finish will be fitting.

theres no set date when these will be released, but one can only guess that best buy will release these alongside the dvd. so tuesday is your best bet, but dont count on it.... it really depends on your best buy.
