This store had So much loose g1 stuff! A lot of it is super overpriced though. Should i pick up soundblaster with one tape and a few accessories for $50? They also had grimlock which im thinking about going back and getting for $40(just figure)

Hehe, I'm the last person you should ask that question to since I'm not a fan of him. But I guess, personal likes of my own aside, it depends. How complete is he? Is he in good condition? Do you really like Soundblaster enough to pay that kind of money for him? And, have you seen him for less, or think you can get him for less somewhere else. If you said "yes" to all the questions except for the last one, then maybe you should get him. I personally don't own one, so I don't know how good he is. But he seems rare.

Honestly, if you want it I would say get it while you can. If you let this go by you never know when you might be able to get one again and it could be more expensive.

I cant even find a g1 version on ebay, let alone anywhere else. This is the first time i have seen him in person. Upon first impression he seemed like he was in good condition, however he feels really really cheap. I dont know if thats just how he was made or what, but that was my first impression. Btw, this store is notorious for having overpriced g1's. They're selling a g1 megatron (no accessories) for $180. He looked like he was in fair condition too.

If Soundblaster is in the same kind of condition, and comes with a cassette and some accessories, I say go for it.

Fairly good price, and you can nab what you are missing later on.

hmmmm Ill think about getting him. Thanks! Also, can someone who owns g1 snarl help me out. The little cylinder thing that connects his legs to his torso basically falls down. Like if you pick him up in robot mode, his legs will just fall down and dangle. Is this normal? Or is it just loose. Is there any way i can tighten it? Thanks!

Wow, Snarl is in terrific condition. Missing his accesories, but otherwise a great find. As for Soundblaster, if he's complete or at least has his Cassetticons, go for him. For $50, you can't go wrong, seeing as how he's starting to go up in price these days (Past the hundreds....)

Oh, about Snarl's waist, he's just loose. I had that problem w/my Snarl when I got him. I just put some glue there & let it dry before I put his waist back. LET IT DRY. Or you'll regret it later.

Grimlock will never get a re-issue since the molds gone, so I'd say get 'im.

I'd look for the reissue first, chances are he's cheaper.

I would't go that far. Not a completist.

Grimlock - awesome T-rex mode, was up with the bot mode, his head is way far back!

Slag - awesome Triceratops, transformation stinks, bot mode is not that great.

Snarl - kinda weird but forgiveable dimensions in dino mode, unforgiveable that he cannot bite, big minus to transformation because his dino head splits?!?! Bot mode is best of the bunch.

Swoop - just no

So it comes down to Sludge.
Doesn't stand out to me, but decent in alt. mode, bot mode, transformation.

hence,
SLUDGE IS KING

Yeah. There's a lot of room for improvement for the Dinobots.
